1.0INTRODUCTION
NTPC invites Expression of Interest from agencies in India for supplying paddy straw and other agro waste based briquettes and pellets for its use as secondary fuel in limited quantity
2.0INTENT OF THE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
NTPC intends to identify agencies in India, having experience in handling paddy straw and other agro waste who have established capacity of manufacturing and supplying its briquettes/pellets for its use as secondary fuel in limited quantity
NTPC is planning to utilize these agro residues for power generation at NTPC Dadri Plant, (Address- Vidyut Nagar, Distt. Gautambudhnagar, Uncha Amirpur, Uttar Pradesh 201008) and Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project, Jhajjar,
NTPC also intends to seek budgetary landed price of briquettes/pellets at aforementioned locations from agencies.
Presently, NTPC intends to procure
NTPC can procure the aforesaid quantity of briquettes/pellets through single party or combination of parties. Also the facility should be preferably located near to the aforesaid power plant, so that transport component can be minimized.

3.0Eligibility
I.NTPC is to procure
II.The Net Worth of the agency as on the last day of the preceding financial year as on the date of publication of this EOI should not be less than 75% (hundred percent) of its paid- up share capital.
III.In case the agency is not able to furnish its audited financial statements on standalone entity basis, the unaudited unconsolidated financial statements can be considered acceptable provided the agency further furnishes the following documents for substantiation of its qualification:
a)Copies of the unaudited unconsolidated financial statements of the Agency along with copies of the audited consolidated financial statements.
b)A Certificate from the CEO/CFO/Owner of the Agency, stating that the unaudited unconsolidated financial statements form part of the consolidated financial statements of the Agency.
4.0DOWNLOAD AND SUBMISSION OF EOI

5.0NTPC reserves the right to reject or accept any or all applications, cancel/withdraw the EOI process without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no applicant / intending applicant shall have any claim arising out of such action.
