5.0All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security for an amount of Rs. 6, 68,000.00 (Indian Rupees Six Lakhs Sixty Eight Thousand Only). Any Bid not Accompanied by an Acceptable Bid Security in a Separate Sealed Envelope/ Online Mode Shall Be Rejected By The Employer As Being Non- Responsive And Returned To The Bidder Without Being Opened.
6.0Bid Security shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online mode up to the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security shall be treated as
7.0Qualification Requirements for Bidders
The bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following Qualifying Requirements.
The bidder should be a company registered under the companies Act 1956 or a partnership/proprietorship firm.
In addition to the requirements stipulated in Section ITB (Instructions to bidder), the bidder should also meet the qualifying requirements stipulated hereunder:
1.0The bidder should have executed /completed dredging work in Waterways/Water Channels/Reservoir/Dam/Canal/River/Ports/Dockyard/Naval or any combination of above mentioned dredging works, for any NTPC stations/SEBs/Govt./Semi Govt./PSU/”NSE or

BSE enlisted company” during the preceding seven (07) years prior to schedule date of
(a) Single Contract of value not less than Rs. 266.88 Lakhs
OR
(b) Two Contracts of value not less than Rs. 166.8 Lakhs each
OR
(c)Three Contracts of value not less than Rs. 133.44 Lakhs each
2.0The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the schedule date of
Notes:
(a)The word “executed” mentioned in clause 1.0 means that the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in clause 1.0 with ANY of the following conditions:

(b)Any of the cases mentioned in Note (a) and other requirements in clause 1.0 above shall be supported by documentary evidence issued by the owner.
(c)Other income shall not be considered for considered for arriving at annual turnover.
(d)In cases where audited results for the last financial year as on the schedule date of the techno- Commercial Bid opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters. Further, a Certificate would be required from the CEO/CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding documents stating that the financial results of the Company are under audit as on the schedule date of Techno- Commercial bid opening and the Certificate from the practicing Chartered Accountant certifying that financial parameters is not available.
8.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation for Bids without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder /intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
9.0Prospective Bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents from office of NTPC.

10.0A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment
SSI units of Bihar/MSME / SSI units (of other states) registered with the National Small Scale Industries Corporation shall be exempted from the payment of Earnest Money Deposit. Tenderers seeking exemption should submit a Photocopy of valid registration certificate preferably attested by Notary/Gazetted Officer/ Magistrate 1st class, giving details such as validity, stores etc failing which they run the risk of their tenders being passed over as ineligible for this concession.
Note: No hard copy of Bidding Documents shall be issued.
11.0Issuance of bid documents to any Bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered to be qualified. Bids shall be submitted online and opened at the address given below in the presence of
Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend the bid opening.
12.0Transfer of Bidding Documents purchased by one intending Bidder to another is not permissible.
