3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.
4.0A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at
VISAKHAPATNAM or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.
5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail
SUPPLY OF 2 NOS OIL FREE SCREW COMPRESSORS ALONG WITH DRIERS FOR ASH HANDLING INSTRUMENT AIR SYSTEM.
6.0Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.
7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders: The bidders are required to fulfill the following:
QR for Procurement of 2 Nos Oil Free Screw Compressors Along with Driers for Ash Handling Instrument Air System.
A.The bidder should have designed, manufactured, supplied and commissioned at least two (02) numbers of non lubricated oil free screw air compressors, each of minimum capacity 40nm3/min (1415 CFM), and at rated discharge pressure of 7.5 kg/cm2 or above, which are in successful operation for at least two (2) years prior to the date of techno-commercial bid opening. Bidder should offer only the type of compressors for which they are qualified.
B.The bidder should have manufactured and supplied non lubricated oil free screw compressors and meeting any one of the following criteria during the last seven (07) years for the above mentioned works, as on the date of bid opening:
i.Single Order of value not less than Rs. 172.20 Lakhs
OR
ii.Two orders of value not less than Rs. 107.63 Lakhs each
OR
iii.Three orders of value not less than Rs. 86.10 Lakhs each
Financial Criteria:
The average annual turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs 215 Lakhs (Rupees Two hundred and fifteen lakhs).

DESIGN REQUIREMENT
THE COMPRESSOR SHALL BE OF 2 STAGES, OIL FREE, AND SCREW TYPE AIR OR WATER COOLED. THE COMPRESSOR SHALL DELIVER AIR FREE OF IMPURITIES AS PER IS 8573-1 CLASS 0
PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE
1)THE VENDOR SHALL GUARANTEE THAT THE EQUIPMENT OFFERED SHALL MEET THE RATING AND PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT STIPULATED FOR VARIOUS EQUIPMENT COVERED IN THIS SPECIFICATION. ALL COMPRESSORS UNIT AND ACCESSORIES SHALL BE GUARANTEED TO OPERATE WITHOUT PULSATION, NOISE OR VIBRATION WHILE OPERATING IN ISOLATION AS WELL AS IN PARALLEL WITH OTHER COMPRESSOR
2)ALL COMPRESSOR UNIT AND ACCESSORIES SHALL BE GUARANTEED FOR CAPACITY, PRESSURE AND POWER CONSUMPTION FOR SPECIFIED CAPACITY PRESSURE EITHER IN ISOLATION OR DURING PARALLEL OPERATION

SUCCESSFUL BIDDER HAS TO SUBMIT THEIR MANUFACTURING QUALITY PLAN FOR NTPC APPROVAL AND ALL MAJOR COMPONENTS ARE TO BE INCLUDED IN QUALITY PLAN
INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING
1)THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER SHOULD INSTALL AND COMMISSION THE COMPRESSORS ALONG WITH DRIERS TO THE SATISFACTION OF NTPC ENGINEER IN CHARGE
2)THE AGENCY SHOULD INDICATE THE ERECTION AND COMMISSIONING CHARGES SEPARATELY IN THE BID
8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
