1.0NTPC Limited invites on-line bids on Single Stage Two Envelope bidding basis from eligible Bidders for Consultancy Assignment for the Preparation of Feasibility Report for North West (NW) Quarry of Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining Block as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter.

2.0The scope of services for the subject consultancy assignment, in brief, includes preparation of FR for North West (NW) Quarry of Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining Block.

3.0Detailed scope of work, specifications and terms & conditions are given in the bidding documents which are available for examination and sale at the address given below as per the following schedule:

The date of opening of Envelope-II (Price Proposal) shall be intimated separately by NTPC.

4.0All bids must be accompanied by Earnest Money Deposit for an amount of

₹ 45,000 (Indian Rupees Forty-Five Thousand only) in the form as stipulated in bidding documents.

ANY BID NOT ACCOMPANIED BY AN ACCEPTABLE BID SECURITY IN A

SEPARATE SEALED ENVELOPE SHALL BE REJECTED BY THE EMPLOYER

AS BEING NON-RESPONSIVE AND RETURNED TO THE BIDDERS WITHOUT

BEING OPENED.

5.0A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at New Delhi or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date along with duly filled in questionnaire for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

6.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

6.1The Bidder shall provide satisfactory evidence that he is eligible to bid and is qualified to perform the contract by meeting the following requirements:

Bidder should have successfully completed the following during the preceding seven (7) years as on date of techno-commercial bid opening.

Two (2) consultancy assignments each covering preparation of feasibility report for opencast mines of coal/lignite.

6.2The scope of the assignment(s) mentioned at 6.1 above for open cast coal/lignite mine should have together covered development of project implementation schedule, preparation of surface master plan, mine economics, estimation of capital investment, coal evacuation and environmental aspects.

6.3Evidence of satisfactory completion of consultancy assignment shall be client certificate for feasibility report.

7.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

8.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
