3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Mouda or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

The contractor shall provide operational assistance in the entire three shifts round the clock as per the instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. The operational assistance is for shift maintenance which is emergency service. It will be sole responsibility of contractor to ensure operational assistance in each shift without fail 24X7 throughout the contract period.

Timing for operational assistance shall be as per the shift rota of NTPC.

A shift: 06.00 AM to 02.00 PM

B Shift: 02.00 PM to 10.00 PM.

C Shift: 10.00 PM to 06.00 AM

However, during exigencies of works/jobs, working time will vary as per the EIC instructions. The deployment of assistance staff may be in shift and general shift as per exigencies of works/jobs.

1 No. quantity (OPR) = 8 hours of manpower deployment

Agency has to deploy suitably contract labourers to take care of the shifts assistance of all the areas, as per the NTPC shift rota:

1.Main plant C&I shift maintenance assistance stage-1

2.Main plant C&I shift maintenance assistance stage-2

3.Ash handling C&I maintenance shift stage-1

4.Ash handling C&I maintenance shift stage-2

5.Coal handling C&I maintenance shift stage-1

6.Coal handling C&I maintenance shift stage-2

7.Deployment of high skilled manpower (minimum qualification diploma) in shift or general (as per instruction of EIC).

Agency has to

deploy minimum 28 nos. contract labourers to take care of the shifts assistance of all the areas, as per

the NTPC shift

#Unskilled manpower for shift maintenance assistance: 04 nos.

#Semi-skilled manpower for shift maintenance assistance: 04 Nos.

#Skilled manpower for shift maintenance assistance: 16 nos.

#High skilled manpower (minimum diploma holder) for shift maintenance: 04 Nos.

6.0Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders: The bidders are required to fulfill the following:

(a)The bidder should have successfully executed/completed the work(s) #Maintenance of C&I System# and/or #Erection of C&I Systems# in any thermal power plant having Unit(s) of 200 MW or above capacity, directly under PSU/Joint Venture of PSU/Govt. Department/Quasi-Govt. Department/Public Limited Company# during last seven (07) years as on date of bid opening in:

i.Single contract of value not less than INR 44.00 Lakhs.

OR

ii.Two contracts of value not less than INR 28.00 Lakhs each.

OR

iii.Three contracts of value not less than INR 22.00 Lakhs each.

(b)The average annual financial turnover of the bidder during the preceding three (03) financial years as on date of bid opening shall not be less than INR 56 Lakhs (Rupees Fifty Six Lakhs Only).

(c)In case where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of bid opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters. Further, a Certificate would be required from the CEO/ CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding documents stating that the Financial results of the Company are under audit as on the date of Techno-commercial bid opening and the

Certificate from the practicing Chartered Accountant certifying the financial parameters is not available.

Notes:

1.Other income shall not be considered for arriving the annual turnover.

2.The word #executed# means that the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in the above QR within preceding Seven (07) years period even if the contract has been started earlier and/ or is not completed/ closed.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
