NOTICE INVITING TENDER

(DOMESTIC COMPETITIVE BIDDING)

NSPCL-Bhilai invites tenders for following packages.

Technical Bid shall be opened at 15:30 hrs on last date of the receipt of bid

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS

1.        The bidder should have manufactured & supplied 6.6 kV or higher voltage indoor type vacuum circuit breakers having rated breaking current capacity of 40 K Amps or more to any PSU/ Govt. /semi Govt./ Public/Pvt. Ltd. company during last five years ending last day of the month, previous to the one in which bids are invited. The breakers should be in satisfactory operation for at least one year as on the date of NIT publication.

2.        The average annual turnover of the Bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of Techno-commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 98.82 lacs.

3.         The bidder should have experience in completing 'similar order' successfully within preceding seven years ending last day of the month, previous to the one in which bids are invited:

a.          One completed work costing not less than Rs.158.11 Lacs.

b.         Two completed works each costing not less than Rs. 98.81 Lacs each.

c.          Three completed works each costing not less than Rs. 79.05 Lacs each.

Note:

• The phrase 'similar order' (at sl. No. 3) means:

Manufacturing & supply of 6.6 kV or higher voltage indoor type vacuum circuit breakers having rated breaking current capacity of 40 K Amps or more.

¨   Values as per Cl-2 shall be considered inclusive of taxes & duties.

¨   While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.

¨   In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1              Bid documents will be issued to all the parties on their request (cost of tender document to be made by a crossed demand draft / pay order / banker's cheque in favour of NSPCL payable at Bhilai) for issue of bid documents without prima-facie examination of their qualification status. However, issue of bid documents shall not mean that bidders are considered qualified. Tender document fee will not be refunded. Request for tender documents received after the last date as mentioned above due to delays postal/courier services shall not be entertained.

2.             Complete set of bidding documents are also available on NTPC website www.ntpctender.com prospective bidders can down load the same for submission of bids after tendering the cost of bidding documents directly on the website.

3.             NSPCL reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the Invitation for bids without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

4.             Agencies are advised to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the nature of work and the site conditions.

5.             Small-scale industries registered with NSIC shall be exempted for payment of EMD provided the certificate is related to the subject work only, and the quoted value is within the monetary limit for the said unit set by NSIC

(Subject to submission of copy of registration giving details, such as validity, monetary limit, etc.)

6.             If the last date of receiving application and date of bid opening coincide with a holiday, the date will be shifted to the next working day.

7.             Tenders will be called under two part bidding system.  Bid opening schedule and other details shall be available in tender documents.

8.             ANY BIDS NOT ACCOMPANIED BY AN ACCEPTABLE BID SECURITY IN A SEPARATE SEALED ENVELOPE SHALL BE REJECTED BY THE NSPCL AS BEING NON-RESPONSIVE AND RETURNED TO THE BIDDERS WITHOUT BEING OPENED.

9.             Other terms and conditions will be intimated in tender documents.
