3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at

KAHALGAON or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

1)SCOPE OF WORK: SUPPLY OF EQUIPMENT/ SPARES AS PER BOQ AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS MENTIONED IN THE TENDER DOCUMENTS.

OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS:

2)INSPECTION & QUALITY TERMS:

(A)PRE-DISPATCH INSPECTION SHALL BE DONE AT PARTY#S WORKS AS PER APPROVED QUALITY PLAN.

(B)VENDOR TO SUBMIT WARRANTY/GUARANTEE CERTIFICATE VALID FOR A PERIOD OF 18 MONTHS/12 MONTHS FROM DISPATCH/COMMISIONING, WHICHEVER IS EARLIER, AGAINST ANY MANUFACTURING DEFECTS AND BAD WORKMANSHIP.

3) DELIVERY PERIOD: THREE (03) MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF CONFIRM ORDER.

4) PBG: PARTY TO SUBMIT PERFORMANCE BANK GUARANTEE (PNG) FOR 10% OF TOTAL ORDER VALUE.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.The bidder must be a manufacturer of #LT Motor# (of 415 V or higher rating) or its authorised representative and should have executed the supply of the same to any NTPC Stations/SEBs/Govt./ Semi Govt./PSU/# NSE or BSE enlisted Company# during preceding seven (07) years prior to date of techno-commercial bid opening as per the following criteria.

Three similar works/orders each costing not less than Rs. 3.54 lakhs

OR

Two similar works/orders each costing not less than Rs. 4.43 lakhs

OR

One similar order costing not less than Rs. 7.09 lakhs.

2.Average annual financial turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (03) financial years prior to date of techno-commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs.8.86 Lakhs.

NOTE :-

(a)The word #executed# mentioned in clause 01 means that the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in clause 01 with ANY of the following conditions:

#Case-I: The work/order is started earlier (prior to the period stipulated in Clause-01) but completed within the stipulated period as mentioned in clause 01. In such cases, entire executed value of the relevant work vide that work order shall be considered for evaluation.

#Case-II: The work/order is started and completed within the stipulated period as mentioned in clause 01.

#Case-III: The work/order is started within the stipulated period as mentioned in Clause 01 but not completed as on the last date of stipulated period. In such cases, #in progress# executed value of the relevant work vide that work order as on the last date of stipulated period, shall be considered for evaluation.

Remarks:

(i)Any of the above cases shall be supported by documentary evidence issued by the owner.

(ii)In case of composite work/ BOQ, the bidder shall have to furnish Certificate from owner certifying the value of specific nature of work, as mentioned at Clause # 01.

(b) While computing the annual turnover, other income shall not be considered.

(c) In cases, where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of the Techno-Commercial Bid Opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In cases, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters. Further a certificate would be required from the CEO/CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding documents stating that the financial results of the company are under audit as on the date of Techno-commercial bid opening and the Certificate from the practicing Chartered Accountant certifying that financial parameters is not available.

(d) Similar works/order means #manufacture & supply of #LT Motor# (of 415 V or higher rating), as defined in Clause-01.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
