NTPC Limited invites applications from eligible manufacturers / vendors for the above mentioned procurement for Kudgi Super Thermal Power Project of Western Region-I.

Application for Enlistment/Registration duly filled in (alongwith all the required documents) shall be received upto 1500 Hrs (IST) on 07.01.2017 at NTPC Kudgi site office. Any change in last date for submission of application will be published only in our websites.

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS

Qualifying Requirements (QR) for “Enlistment of vendors for Supply of OP Cement and PP Cement” shall be as below:

1.1The Bidder should have manufacturing capacity of 1.0 million tons per annum of PPC confirming to IS: 1489 Part-1 / OPC confirming to IS: 8112.

1.2The Bidder should be holder of valid license from Bureau of Indian Standards for the respective grades for which enlistment is being sought.

1.3The Bidder should have supplied PPC confirming to IS:1489 Part-1/OPC confirming to IS:8112 during the preceding 03 years as on the date 31.03.2016, in:

i) Single Contract of quantity not less than 5600 MT.

OR

ii) Two Contracts of quantity not less than 3500 MT each.

OR

iii) Three Contracts of quantity not less than 2800 MT each.

2.0Financial Criteria:

2.1The average annual turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the date of Bid Opening shall not be less than Rs. 1084.00 Lakhs. (Indian Rupees One thousand eighty four Lakhs only).

Notes:

i)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

ii)The word “supplied” means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the QR para above1.3 even if total contract is not completed/ closed. The same shall be supported by documentary evidence issued by the owner/ employer.

iii)In cases where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable.

iv)The Bidder may choose to enlist himself either for PPC or OPC or Both. Accordingly, they shall give their documents.

v)The bidder shall submit documentary evidence/proof of meeting qualifying requirements stipulated above.

3.0Notwithstanding anything stated above, the Employer reserves the right to assess the capabilities and capacity of the Bidder / his collaborators / associates / subsidiaries / group companies to perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in the overall interest of the Employer.

1.0DISCLAIMER

1.1NTPC reserves the right not to proceed further, to change the process or procedure to be applied for Enlistment/Registration. It also reserves the right to decline to discuss further with any Applicant applying for Enlistment/Registration.

2.0INTRODUCTION

2.1NTPC Limited (A Government of India Enterprise) is the largest power generating company of India. With current generating capacity of more than 43,143 MW, NTPC has embarked on plans to become a 1,28,000 MW company by 2032.

3.0SCOPE

3.1NTPC Kudgi STPP plans to enlist/register manufacturer/vendors for Procurement of

Cement [Pozzolana Portland Cement (PPC) & Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC)] required there.

Applications are invited in prescribed form from manufacturers/ vendors of cement (PPC and/or OPC) who are interested to supply cement for this project.

4.0INSTRUCTIONS TO THE APPLICANTS

4.1The applicant will have to submit his application (alongwith supporting documents) at NTPC Kudgi site office after carefully examining the documents/ conditions etc.

4.2The fee for “Application for Registration” is Rs. 600/- (Non-refundable) to be submitted SEPARATELY in the form of a Crossed Account Payee Demand Draft drawn in favour of “NTPC Limited” and payable at Bijapur (Karnataka). Without requisite amount of DD, “Application for Registration” shall not be considered.

MSME/ NSIC Registered and SSI vendors Registered in Karnataka are exempted from submitting the above fees.

4.3Applicants will submit the duly completed application alongwith all the required documents. Further, applicants are required to fill up all the required data/information sought.

4.4The applicant shall submit the Power of Attorney duly authorized & notarized for the person signing and submitting the application on behalf of the applicants.

4.5The applicant shall strictly adhere to the “Fraud Prevention Policy” of NTPC displayed on its tender website http://www.ntpctender.com.

4.6All cost incurred by applicants for preparing and submitting the application, providing clarification or any other expenses whatsoever shall be borne by applicants themselves.

4.7The information sought shall be filled in completely and wherever not applicable it should be written as “Not Applicable”.

4.8A prospective Applicant requiring any clarification to the Enlistment documents may notify the same through e-mail or in writing by post as per detail address given below. NTPC Kudgi will respond to any request for clarification that it receives not later than Seven (07) days prior to the deadline for submission of application prescribed by the NTPC.

4.9The Applicant may modify, substitute or withdraw his original application for Enlistment after its submission, but in any case before the specified deadline for submission. For doing so, a corresponding written notice of the modification or substitution or withdrawal has to be submitted by the Applicant to the Employer prior to the last date notified for receipt of the applications.

No applications shall be modified, substituted or withdrawn by the Applicant subsequent to the last date notified for receipt of the applications.

4.10Any information/data furnished by the Applicant found to be incorrect or false of misleading at any point of time would render him liable to be debarred from the Enlistment.

4.11NTPC reserves the right to cross check and confirm the information /details furnished by the Applicant.

4.12Last date for submission of application for empanelment/registration completed in all respect alongwith necessary documents is 07.01.2017 till 1500 hrs. (IST). Any change in last date for submission of application will be published only in our websites.

4.13Make sure that the duly completed application (alongwith all the required documents) is reached NTPC Kudgi site office well in advance of the time & date specified.

4.14Applicant’s attention is drawn that during the period, the applications are under consideration, the applicant is advised to refrain from contacting by any means, the Employer and/or his employees/representatives on matters related to the applications under consideration. Any effort by an Applicant to influence the Employer’s processing of applications for Enlistment will result in the rejection of the Applicant’s application for Enlistment/Registrations.
