3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at

VISAKHAPATNAM or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

4)ALIPHATC POLYURATHANE PAINT SEA GREEN - QTY: 3700 LTR

5)ALIPHATIC PU FINISH PAINT- SMOKE GREY - QTY: 6200 LTR

6)EPOXY-ZINC PHOSPHATE PRIMER- REDOXIDE - QTY: 16860 LTR

7)THINNER EPOXY 844 FORM LIQUID - QTY: 3380 LTR

8)PRIMER EPOXY MICACEOUS IRON OXIDE- BROWN - QTY: 16860 LTR

9)THINNER FOR MIO. - QTY: 3380 LTR

10)THINNER FOR POLYURETHANE FINISH COAT - QTY: 3380 LTR

11)PAINT EPOXY COAL TAR MATT. BLACK - QTY: 300 LTR

QTY VARIATION +/-2% IS APPLICABLE FOR ALL ITEMS.

IMPORTANT NOTE:-

1.# Bidders are requested to refer detailed technical specification of the item (s). In case of any contradiction between short text of item(s) and complete technical specification of the item(s), ONLY COMPLETE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION OF THAT ITEM SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FOR THE SUBMISSION OF OFFER AND SAME SHALL BE CONSIDERED FOR EVALUATION PURPOSE AT OUR END."

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders: The bidders are required to fulfill the following:-

A.The bidder should be the manufacturer of different types of paints as per the relevant IS codes and should have valid BIS license for the paint being manufactured.

B.The bidder should have manufactured and supplied paints for which he has submitted the offer and meeting any one of the following criteria during the last seven (07) years for the above mentioned works, as on the date of bid opening.

i. Single order of value not less than Rs. 72.18 Lakhs OR

ii.Two orders of value not less than Rs. 45.11 Lakhs each OR

iii.Three orders of value not less than Rs. 36.09 Lakhs each C. Financial Criteria:

The average annual turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 90 Lakhs (Rupees Ninety Lakhs Only).

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

Following bidders are exempted from Tender Fee and EMD by submission of valid registration certificates as below.

1)Small Scale Industries registered with NSIC with validity 2)MSME bidders

Tenderers seeking exemption should enclose a Photocopy of valid registration certificate preferably attested by Gazetted Officer/Magistrate I st class failing which they run the risk of their application for tender documents/ tenders being passed over as ineligible for this concession.

IMPORTANT NOTE:-

2.If it comes to the notice of NTPC Simhadri at any point of time that Excise Assessable value of any item supplied by the successful tenderer against the purchase order placed against this tender is less than the value indicated in the price bid, payment shall be released taking such lower Excise Assessable value into consideration and no claims whatsoever on this account shall be entertained.
