DETAILED INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR THE HIRING OF CONSULTANT FOR PREPARING SCHEME FOR USE OF TREATED SEWAGE FOR NCPS- DADRI

1.0DISCLAIMER

1.1NTPC reserves the right not to proceed further, to change the process or procedure to be applied. It also reserves the right to decline to discuss further with any party expressing interest.

1.2No reimbursement of cost of any type shall be paid to persons, entities or consortiums expressing interest.

2.0 INTRODUCTION

NATIONAL CAPITAL POWER STATION-DADRI (NCPS-DADRI), has 1820 MW Thermal based Stage-I (4x 210MW) & Stage-II (2x490MW) and 829 MW (Gas based) and 5MW solar power capacity.

3.0PURPOSE OF THE EOI

3.1NTPC ON BEHALF of NCPS-DADRI, desires to HIRE a Consultant , for preparing scheme for use of Treated Sewage for NCPS-Dadri.

3.2NTPC invites EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) from reputed Consultants (referred to as Consultants), who have experience of undertaking consultancy

works of similar nature as per scope of work of NCPS-Dadri mentioned at 4.0 below.

4.0SCOPE OF WORK

The scope of work includes the following:

1.To find out available sewage treatment plants of Municipality/ Local bodies within a radius of 50 km of NCPS-Dadri.

2.To identify most suitable STP(s) through techno-commercial analysis to make available 212 MLD treated sewage for NCPS-Dadri on long term sustainable basis (minimum 25 years).

3.Based on the available quality from above plant(s), suggest additional treatment at a common STP to make it suitable for use in power plant CW system as per quality requirements as detailed below:

4.Transportation of treated sewage to NCPS-Dadri from the above system including a suggestive pipe routing.

5.To work out the total BOQ & cost of the proposed sewage treatment & supply schemes for NCPS-Dadri.

6.After the above surveys and studies, the Consultant shall prepare a comprehensive Feasibility Report (FR) for “Possible use of treated sewage water for National Capital Power Station, Dadri (2654 MW)” and submit the same to NTPC/NCPS-Dadri within 3 months from the date of award of the said consultancy contract.

5.0ELIGIBILITY

5.1The applicant should be a Consultancy Firm, who has undertaken similar kind of assignments as at 4.0 above.

6.0 INFORMATION REQUIRED AS PART OF EOI

Applicants are required to submit the information about their Company Profile, their technical capabilities, manpower strength, work experience & financial status in the format as mentioned at Annexure I .

7.0PROCEDURE OF OBTAINING EOI DOCUMENTS

For submission of Expression of Interest, interested parties may obtain the complete set of EOI documents along with forms free of cost on submission of a written application/ request letter to NTPC Limited at the address mentioned at 10.0 below.

8.0 TIME SCHEDULE

9.0DISCUSSION WITH BIDDERS

Discussions shall be held with eligible interested bidders at site. Agencies shall participate at their own cost.

10.0 SIGNATURE & SUBMISSION

10.1All the Applications shall be submitted duly signed and stamped by the applicant in the format, as per Annexure-I, provided along with this document. The signed proposal along with the documentary evidences, shall be submitted in three copies in a sealed envelope, duly super-scribed “Expression of Interest for Appointment of a Consultant for hiring Consultant for preparing scheme for use of treated sewage for NCPS-Dadri”, on or before the prescribed date and time, at the address given under:

10.2NTPC may seek additional information from interested applicants who respond to this EOI. However, NTPC reserves the right to modify the process or to not act upon the EOI or to ask for fresh EOI at a later date, without assigning any reason whatsoever.

11.0RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT APPLICATION

11.1Applicants may note that mere submission of EOI and/or submission of additional information do not automatically entitle them to any claim.

11.2Not withstanding anything contained in this EOI, NTPC reserves the right to accept or reject any application and annul the process and reject all applications at any time without any liability or any obligation for such acceptance, rejection or annulment without assigning any reason.
