NOTICE INVITING TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF POZZOLANA PORTLAND CEMENT AT NTPC KAWAS THROUGH
(Under Domestic Competitive Bidding Process)
1.0NTPC Kawas invites tenders from eligible bidders for Supply of Pozzolana Portland Cement through

3.0Qualifying Requirements:
3.1.0The vendor should be a cement manufacturer or authorized dealer of cement manufacturer of OPC/PPC cement as per relevant IS.
3.2.0During the last Seven (7) financial years, the intending bidder should have executed similar works.
(a)One similar executed works costing not less than Rs.11.28 Lakhs each
OR
(b)Two similar executed works costing not less than Rs.7.05 Lakhs each
OR
(c)Three similar executed works costing not less than Rs.5.64 Lakhs each
3.3.0Financial Criteria:
The average annual turnover of the bidder for the preceding three (3) completed financial years
Note:
(i)Similar work means the work mentioned at para 3.1.0 above. If party submit single P.O. copy at sl. no.3.2.0 (a), then bidder should submit one more P.O. copy of any value.
(ii)The relevant/necessary documents for meeting the above Q.R. should be submitted along with the technical bid and should be self attested/online digitally signed by bidder.
(iii)The word executed means the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the QR even if the total contract is not completed/closed and the same shall be supported by documentary evidences. (Completion certificate or copy of invoice against work executed or copy of receipt of payment).
(iv)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.
(v)For meeting the Financial Criteria of the QR, audited financial statement is required to be furnished.
In cases where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of Techno Commercial bid opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.
In case Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive fiancial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters provided a certificate would be required from the CEO/CFO, stating that the Financial results of the Company are under audit as on the date of
(vi)NTPC reserves a right to visit the vendor’s facility for evaluating the Q.R. criteria.
4.0Brief scope of work:
The scope covers Supply of 300 MT Pozzolana Portland Cement as per IS:1489

5.0A Complete set of bidding Document may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non- refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned at Para 2.0 above
directly through the payment gateway at our SRM site, (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require Vendor Code and SRM user Id and Password. First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least Seven working days prior to Document Sale Close date for issue of vendor code and SRM user ID/Password. Issuance of bidding documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
6.0Tender documents are Non transferable. Only the bidder, in whose name the tender documents are downloaded, is allowed to submit offer. No bidder other than the original bidder in whose name the tender documents are sold / downloaded can submit the offer.
7.0Bid Security, in original, for the requisite amount as stipulated in Para 2.0 above shall be submitted prior to the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given herein below. If Bid Security in Original, in a separate sealed cover is not received or bids for which Bid security of inadequate value is received the same shall not be entertained and in such cases bids shall not be opened.
8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the Invitation for bids without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
