5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail
Procurement of Wear Parts (Grinding Rolls & Bull ring Segments)
6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase ofbidding documents.
7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
5.0 Qualifying requirements:
The bidders are required to fulfil the following. 5.1 Technical Criteria:
5.1.1 The bidder should be regular manufacturer of Vertical type coal pulverizes and should have supplied such coal
pulverizes to at least two (02) nos. coal fired units, each |

or higher capacity, located at two (02) different |
power stations and which are in successful operation for |

least two |
(02) years as on the last date of the month |
preceding the month of publication of NIT with the same type of grinding rolls (#Centrifugally Cast Ni-Hard Type# or

(b) The bidder should have the following manufacturing and testing facilities for grinding rolls & bull ring segments: Manufacturing Facilities:
1. Induction / Cupola / Induction Arc Furnace for melting iron 1.0 Ton and above.
2. Centrifugal Casting Machine to accommodate Grinding Rolls over 1000 Kg (in case bidder is offering Ni-Hard Rolls)
3. Machining Facility for inside bore
Testing Facilities:
1. Chemical composition testing
2. Magnetic particle testing machine
3. Hardness testing
4. Ultrasonic testing machine to check tread to core bond
5. Micro structure testing
6. Ultrasonic machine to check tread thickness
7. Inside Micrometers to check inside taper measurements
8. Spectrometer / Spectrogram
AND
(c) the should have successfully manufactured and supplied similar type grinding rolls and bull ring segments for coal mills as offered by him during last seven (07) years ending with the last date of the month preceding the month of publication of NIT in either of the following:
1. Single order with executed value not less than Rs. 214.06 lakhs
OR
2. Two orders with executed value not less than Rs. 133.79 lakhs each OR
3. Three orders with executed value not less than Rs. 107.03 lakhs each
The word executed means the bidder should have achieved the |
criterion specified in the above QR, even if the total |

contact is not completed / closed. |

provided the same is certified by the |
employer. |

5.2 Financial Criteria |
|||
The average annual turn over of the bidder in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the last date of of the month proceding the month of publicaton of NIT shall not be less than Rs. 267.57 lacs. (Rupees Two hundered sixty seven lakhs fifty seven thousand only).
i. While computing the annual turn over, other income shall not be considered.
ii. In case where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of Techno commercial bid opening are not
a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case bidder |

certifying the financial parameters is not available. |

6.0 The bidder shall have to submit the following documents in support of meeting the QR along with their bid:
6.1 The bidder to submit documentary support in support of Clause- 5.1 of QR.
6.2 Copies of audited balance sheet and profit & loss account for the preceding 03 financial years in support of Clause -5.2 of QR.
8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without
assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such
action.
