5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail
RLA Study and Overhauling of GT#2 Generators (165.5 MVA, Air Cooled TLRI-108/41 Siemens Make) at DGPS
6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase ofbidding documents.
7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
Qualifying Requirements for the work Pkg.-CS5/5617):
1.1 The Bidder should either be a company Registered under the companies Act. 1956 & subsequent amendments or a Partnership / Proprietorship firm.
1.2 The bidder or its principal should be manufacturer of two poles Generators of 100 MW or above capacity.
OR
The bidder or its principal should have experience of overhauling and RLA of 100 MW or above Turbo Generator during last 07 years.

i) One Similar work valuing not less than Rs. 44.20 Lacs. OR
ii) Two Similar works valuing not less than Rs. 27.63 Lacs. OR
iii) Three Similar works valuing not less than Rs. 22.10 Lacs.

The average annual |
turnover of the |
bidder in the preceding three (3) financial ending 31st March of previous |

financial year should not be less than Rs. 55.25 Lacs. |

which includes work(s) of Overhauling and |

mentioned above |
means the bidder should have achieved the |
criteria specified above, |
even if |
the |
total |
contract is started |
earlier and/or is |
not completed/closed. |

c. In case of orders under execution, the value of work executed, till the last day of the month previous to the NIT publication as certified by the client shall be considered.
d. While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.
e. In cases where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of technical bid opening are not available, the
financial results certified by |
a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be |
considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is |
not able |
|
to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant |
certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of |
|||
three consecutive financial |
years preceding the last financial |
year |
shall be considered for evaluating the |
financial |
parameters. Further, a certificate would be required from the CEO/CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding
documents stating that the |
financial |
results of the company are under audit as on the date of Techno-commercial bid |
opening and the certificate |
from the |
practicing Chartered accountant certifying the financial parameters is not available. |
f. Bidder should have a valid Provident Fund Code Number and Income Tax Permanent Account Number (PAN).
g. The bidder should have Service Tax Registration Number.
2.0. NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation for Bids without assigning any
reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

Transfer of Bidding Documents purchased by one intending Bidder to another is not permissible.
8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without
assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
