1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentionedhereinafter:

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase ofbidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

Qualifying Requirements for the work Pkg.-CS5/5617):

Bidder should meet the Qualifying Requirements Clause 1.1 OR 1.2 OR 1.3 AND 1.4 & 1.5 as stipulated hereunder:-

1.1 The Bidder should be the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Siemens design Gas Turbines model no. V 94.2 installed at NTPC Dadri Gas Power Station.

OR

1.2 The Bidder should be a Coating / Recoating agency for Gas Turbine Compressor components and must either himself possess or have access to the necessary technology for Coating / Recoating of Gas Turbine Compressor components for Siemens design Gas Turbine Model no. V94.2, installed at NTPC Dadri Gas Power Station having ISO rating of 142.2 MW at TIT of 1060 Deg C

AND

The bidder should have Coated / Re-coated at least two (2) sets of Gas Turbine Compressor Components (Set consists of at least first 06 stages of blades & at least first three stages of Stator Blades along with #0# stage i.e. IGV of GT Compressor) for Siemens design Gas Turbine of minimum 80 MW ISO rating, which should have individually completed successful operation of at least one Hot Gas Path Inspection (HGPI) or Major Overhaul (Minimum 15,000 EOH) as on last day of the month prior to publication of NIT.

OR

1.3 The bidder can be a Licensee OR an Authorized Agent of Gas Turbine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for Gas Turbine model no. V 94.2 as installed at NTPC Dadri Gas Power Station (1.1) OR Coating / recoating agency (1.2). In such case, the bidder can be considered qualified based on the experience of the Principal who meets the requirements mentioned at 1.1 OR 1.2 above.

1.4 The bidder should have executed the work of Coating / Recoating of Gas Turbine Compressor Components meeting

any one of the following criteria during the preceding Seven (7) years as

on last day of month previous to the NIT publication :-

i) Single (1) order of contract value not less than INR 15.96 Million or in equivalent foreign currency. OR

ii) Two (2) orders, each of contract value not less than INR 9.97 Million or in equivalent foreign currency.

OR

iii) Three (3) orders, each of contract value not less than INR 7.98 Million or in equivalent foreign currency.

1.5 The average annual turnover of the bidder for the preceding three (3) completed financial years as on last day of month previous to NIT publication shall not be less than Rs. 19.94 Million or in equivalent foreign currency.

Note:

a. The word #executed# mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if the total contract is started earlier and/or is not completed/closed.

b. While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.

c. In cases where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of technical bid opening are not available, the

consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters.

d. Bidder should have a valid Provident Fund Code Number and Income Tax Permanent Account Number (PAN).

e. The bidder should have Service Tax Registration Number.

4.0. Transfer of Bidding Documents purchased by one intending Bidder to another is not permissible.

8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
