NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)
FOR
STP Disposal Pipeline Network for Horticulture Use at NTPC Mouda Township (Domestic Competitive Bidding)

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail
1.The work is to be executed mainly in township premises of NTPC Mouda STPP. However, the scope of work area may extend from Ramtek State Highway to Township approaches up to Plant Gate No. 2.
2.Pipeline is spread in township premises at various points as shown in layout drawing enclosed.
3.Work includes:
3.1.Providing and laying of pipes of various diameter from 80 mm to 200 mm including excavation, preparation of bed, and backfilling with moorum thickness of 500 mm around the pipes with compaction and
3.2.The straight length of pipes includes all flanges, sockets, elbow, union, specialties bends, tees, reducers, expanders, pipe handers/ supports and all other fittings/ attachments as required including surface preparation and painting etc. The unit rate of pipes shall include all above aspects.
3.3.The pipeline connection is to be made with the existing arrangement of STP discharge line.
3.4.Hydro test for 200 mm dia and above pipes shall be carried out as per FQP/ specifications and the rates for the same shall be inclusive in pipeline items.
3.5.Wrapping and coating in pipeline shall be carried out with holiday and adhesion test as per FQP. The rates for the same shall be inclusive in pipeline items.
4. The scope of work is not limited to above and also cover any other miscellaneous requirements to complete the network as per directions of EIC.
6.0Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.
7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
The bidders are required to fulfil the following:
1.The bidder should have successfully executed contract(s) of #Water Pipeline Works including allied Civil Works# of following values, during the last seven (07) years as on the date of bid opening in
(a) Single Contract of value not less than INR 151.00 Lakhs OR
(b) Two contracts of value not less than INR 94.00 Lakhs each OR
(c) Three contracts of value not less than INR 75.00 Lakhs each
2.The average annual financial turnover of the Bidder during the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than INR 189 Lakhs (Rupees One hundred eighty nine lakhs only).

2)The word #executed# means that the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in the above Qualifying Requirements within preceding seven (07) years period, even if the contract has been started earlier and/ or is not completed/ closed.
8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

3.Benefits to Micro & Small Scale Industries
Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) registered with District Industries Centres or Khadi and Village Industries Commission or Khadi and Village Industries Board or Coir Board or National Small Industries Corporation or Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom or any other body specified by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as per MSMED Act 2006, for goods produced and services rendered, shall be issued the bidding documents free of cost and shall be exempted from paying Earnest Money Deposit. Such parties can sent the request for Tender Documents along with a photocopy of valid registration certificate preferably attested by Gazetted Officer/ Ist Class Magistrate/ notarised, giving details such as validity, stores and monetary limits, failing which they run the risk of their bid being passed over as ineligible for this concession. The documents with regard to the same should reach us at least three working days prior to Last Date of Tender Fee Payment.
