5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail Procurement of APH Baskets For Stage-I

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

Qualifying Requirements: The bidder should meet the following Qualifying Requirements stipulated hereunder:-

1.0 The bidder should	be regular	manufacturer of			boiler of coal fired thermal power plants	and	should	have supplied
boilers to at least two	power plants,		each of	200	MW or higher capacity, located at two different power stations and
which are in successful operation		for	at least	two	years, as on last day of month previous	to the	NIT	publication. In

such a case, bidder himself can manufacture and supply the APH elements meeting the criteria specified at below or the

bidder can source the APH elements from such manufacturers who meet the criteria specified below.
OR
The bidder should be a regular manufacturer of the type of Airpreheater elements	(Hot	End/Hot Intermediate	End/Cold
End) for coal fired boilers having capacity 200MW or higher and should have supplied at		least one set of APH	elements
for coal fired boilers having capacity 200MW or higher (one set consisting of Hot	End,	Hot Intermediate End	and Cold

End elements required for one APH) during preceding three (3) years as on last day of month previous to the NIT publication.

AND
The bidder should have cold forming line rolling machine for	making	profile	of	the	heating	elements of APH, offered
(roller width of 1100 mm minimum).
2.0The bidder should have executed any one of the following	similar work during the preceding seven (7) years ending
last day of month previous to the one in which applications are	invited	should	be	either	of the	following:

i)One similar order valuing not less than Rs. 106.12 Lacs OR

ii)Two similar orders each valuing not less than Rs. 66.33 Lacs OR

iii)Three similar orders each valuing not less than Rs. 53.06 Lacs

3.0The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the date of opening of techno-commercial proposal should not be less than Rs. 132.65 Lacs.

Note :

a)#Similar Works#	means any work which includes #Manufacturer/ Supply of APH Baskets complete set for coal fired
boiler of 200 MW	or above#.

b)The word #executed# mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if, the total contract is started earlier and/or is not completed/closed.

c)In case of orders under execution, the value of work executed till the last date of the month previous to the NIT publication.

d)While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.

e)In cases where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of technical bid opening are not available, the

financial results certified by	a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be		considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able
to submit the certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant		certifying its financial parameters, the audited		results of
three consecutive financial	years preceding the last financial	year	shall be considered for evaluating the	financial

parameters. Further, a certificate would be required from the CEO/CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding

documents stating that the financial results of the company are under audit	as	on the	date of techno-commercial bid
opening and the certificate from the practicing Chartered Accountant certifying	the	financial	parameters is not available.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such
