3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close Date along with dully filled in questionnaire for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.
5.0 Brief Scope of work and other specific detail-
Following are the works under this contract:
1.Supply of material given in bill of quantity as per specification given and as per norms specified in this document
2.Erection work comprising of installation, commissioning, trial operation, site acceptance test and handing over of entire system to NTPC
All equipment’s and material supplied shall be in accordance with DOT/TEC specification with necessary interface/equipment type approval and all work shall be in accordance with approved DOT/TEC practices.
It is not the intent or purpose of this specification to cover each and every item of supply of any other associated services required for completeness of the systems. It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to inform and provide all equipment, materials and services whether specified or not which are required to fulfill the completeness and satisfactory working of the system.
5.1 Scope of supply
1)IP PBX and accessories with one number Operator console.
2)IP Phones, Digital Phones and Analog Telephone Instruments with Message waiting Lamp and CLI.
3)System Administration, Management and CDR Software
4)28 Party Audio Conferencing System& 8 Port Voice Mail System.
5)Float Cum Boost Battery Charger (FCBC) and/or UPS with battery bank for 8 hours backup on full load.
6)Krone make MDF of 1000 pair at Project Office and MDF of 500 Pair at Township.
7)Two sets of system documentation including manuals and drawings and factory test results shall be supplied.
All the cables required for installation and commissioning activity
Any other material, card, license, service or support to cater the features and services mentioned in the document (excluding materials mentioned in 3.0: Facilities to be provided by NTPC) without any extra cost.
The scope of supply shall cover all items as per bill of quantity and functions described in Technical Specifications in

and storage due to improper packing and handling.
Bidder must quote for configuration fully ready for running all the features mentioned in this document, fully loaded with all the hardware and licenses whether mentioned separately or not.
5.2 The scope of installation and commissioning shall include the following-
(a)Installation of IP based PBX along with gateways at project office & Township and other accessories.
(b)Installation of MDF’s and Termination of field cables at both locations.
(c)Installation, testing & commissioning of FCBC and/or UPS along with batteries (Sealed Maintenance Free (SMF) Lead Acid batteries are only acceptable).
(d)The Bidder shall make separate Earthing facility for providing Earthing to the PBX and gateways.
(e)Powering on equipment after ensuring correctness of terminations, interfaces and power supply and making the system ready for testing and communicating.
(f)Field testing of Exchange and associated equipments.
(g)Site acceptance tests to establish satisfactory performance of the IP PBX.
(h)Trial operation for 1 month, during which the performance of the system shall be observed for satisfactory trouble free operation consistent with highest availability figures.
(i)Handing over a complete and fully operational Exchange together with installation drawings and documentation to NTPC representative.
(j)Bidder shall bring his own test and measuring instruments and tools and tackles for installation, Testing, Commissioning and establishing performance of systems and specified site and take them back after Supplier’s use.
6.0Prospective bidders are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.
7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
In addition to satisfactory fulfillment of the Qualifying requirements stipulated in Section – ITB (Instructions to Bidders) of Bid documents, the following shall also apply:

2.0Financial Critera -
2.1The bidder should have successfully completed similar works during last 7 years ending last day of month previous to the one in which applications are invited should be either of the following:

a) Three similar completed works costing not less than 27.29 Lacs each. OR
b) Two similar completed works costing not less than Rs 34.11 Lac each. OR
c) One similar completed work costing not less than Rs 54.57 Lac.
Note: The values shown above in Three/Two/One contract shall be towards the cost of supply, installation and commissioning of IP based telephone exchange only (Including IP,Digital phones and FCBC) without consideration of any other item.
2.2TURNOVER: Average annual financial turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three financial years, as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs 68, 20, 437/- (Rupees Sixty Eight Lac Twenty Thousand Four Hundred Thirty Seven only).
2.3In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year as on the date of Techno- Commercial bid opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters.
8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/indenting bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
