3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Salakati or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

SUPPLY, INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING OF SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS FOR MAKE UP WATER SYSTEM AT NTPC BONGAIGAON.

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

Supply of four (4) nos. of single stage, monoblock, submersible pumps of 1000 m3/hr capacity and 25 MWC head (each) at NTPC BgTPP. Installation, testing and commissioning of three(3) nos. of single stage, monoblock, submersible pumps of 1000 m3/hr capacity and

25 MWC head (each) at river Champavati to draw and pump water to the in-plant reservoir of NTPC BgTPP (3X250 MW). One (1) pump will be kept as spare. The discharge of the pumps is to be connected to an existing single discharge header of 900 NB MS pipeline.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

The bidder who wishes to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following Qualifying requirements:-

6.1The bidder should have designed, manufactured, supplied, erected and successfully commissioned at least one (01) number of submersible pump of minimum capacity of 1000 cum/hr in the last seven (07) years which has been in successful operation for at least one (01) year prior to the date of NIT.

6.2The bidder should have adequate testing facilities OR to have arrangement/tie-up with third party to demonstrate the performance of the pump as per HI Pump standard.

6.3The bidder should have successfully executed the above mentioned order during the last seven (07) years, as on the date of bid opening either of the following :-

One order valuing not less than Rs. 96.78 Lacs.

OR

Two orders valuing not less than Rs. 60.49 Lacs each.

OR

Three orders valuing not less than Rs. 48.39 Lacs each.

6.4 Financial criteria: The average annual financial turnover of the bidder in the preceding (03) years as on the date of bid opening shall be not less than Rs. 120.97 Lacs.

NOTE:

(i)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

(ii)The word #executed# means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the QR at para 6.3 even if the total order is not completed/closed. The same shall be supported by documentary evidence issued by the owner.

(iii)The bidder shall submit documentary evidence/proof of meeting qualifying requirements stipulated above.

(iv)In case where audited result for the last financial year as on the date of techno commercial bid opening are not available, the financial result certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case bidder is not able to submit the certificate from practicing chartered accountant certifying his financial parameters, the audited result of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameter.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
