NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)

FOR

SUPPLY AND ERECTION OF HIGH MAST LIGHTING SYSTEM AT NTPC, BONGAIGAON.

(Domestic Competitive Bidding)

1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

The agency will be responsible for the entire scope of work covering design, engineering, manufacturing, shop testing, dispatch to site with transit insurance, receipt at site, storage, handling, installation, testing and commissioning of 12 nos. 20M lighting Masts complete in all respects using raising and lowering through motorized and manual including luminaries

commissioning of the same at site as mentioned in Annexure-A & B (Sec-V of Bid Document).

2.All tools, tackles and manpower required for erection and commissioning of lighting masts shall be in the scope of the agency.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

The bidder who wishes to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following qualifying requirements:-

6.1.The bidder must be a manufacturer of High Mast Lighting System in India. 6.2.The High Mast Lighting System should be supplied as per IS: 8623.

6.3.The bidder should have successfully executed the work of supply, erection & commissioning of High Mast Lighting

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

Name of the work : Supply & Erection of 12 nos. 20 mts high mast lighting system for NTPC BgTPP. Wind speed: Upto 180km/hr.

Soil bearing capacity: 10 T/ Sqm.

Luminaries: 12 nos. (2x400W HPSV non-integral floodlight fittings complete with all accessories as per technical specifications).

Part I: Supply & Transportation of 20 Mtr High mast lighting system:

double drum winch to be driven by electric motor, continuous stainless steel wire rope (6 mm,7/19 construction),

2.Supply of foundation bolts manufactured from special steel along with nuts & bolts, washers, anchor plates & templates (conforming to relevant IS).

3.Supply of non-integral flood light luminaries 2 X 400watt HPSV and control gear boxs (12 nos for each mast). 4.Supply of twin dome aviation obstruction light with 2 nos GLS lamps (100W).

5.Supply of outdoor (IP: 55) stand mounted control panel (sheet of minimum thickness 14 SWG CRCA) with 63A TPN MCB incomer, single dial time switch, 45A TP contactors for automatic switching on and off the luminaries at pre set time, outgoing terminals and control circuit (suitable copper wire) for the power tool motor with 2 no 9A contactors and

Part II: Erection & Commissioning of 20M High mast lighting system.

1.Erection & commissioning of high masts with the help of suitable equipments, wiring of luminaries with all wiring materials like PVC insulated PVC sheathed flexible cable of suitable copper conductor core of 1.5 sqmm, lugs, MCB. 2.Design & casting of suitable foundation with 1:2:4 concrete for the high mast considering the safe soil bearing capacity at site as 10 T/Sq meter at 2 meter depth and at wind speed of 180 KMPH.

3.Earthing (2 nos per mast) for high mast using 3 m long 40 mm dia GI pipe including connection to high mast eart terminal with 25 X 3 mm GI flats with all materials. All panels & structures to be properly earthed to the local earthing station.

4.Installation of the control panel on suitable foundation.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
