INVITATION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR SUPPLY OF LIMESTONE
FOR FGD UNIT OF PROPOSED TSTPPP PROJECT

NTPC is proposed set up Telangana Super Thermal Power Plant of Phase-I (2x800MW) in the existing plant premises of Ramagundam Super Thermal Power Station in Karimnagar District of Telangana State. It is located on the Chennai/ Hyderabad – New Delhi main railway line and is well connected to major parts of the state as well as other states through Ramagundam – Hyderabad Rajiv Rahadari.
NTPC - Ramagundam invites “Expression of Interest (EOI)” for short listing of agencies towards enlistment for supply of limestone 800 Tons/day with purity greater than 90% as CaCO3. The agency is required to submit a detail along with limestone characteristics includes 1.compressive strength, 2.Bond’s work index. 3. Free silica content 4. Granule size and other chemical characteristics as per the format enclosed.
Interested parties are requested to see the terms and conditions of the EOI and submit their EOI. The details may be submitted in sealed envelopes in the enclosed format. It may be noted that submission of EOI does not in any way constitute any kind of commitment on the part of NTPC Ltd.

Terms and Conditions
01.The scope of EOI supplies of limestone 800 Tons/day with purity greater than 90% for the requirement Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) Unit of proposed Telangana Super Thermal Power Project Phase – I (2X800MW).
02.The interested parties should be able to supply of limestone as per required quantity and quality
03.The Interested party/agency shall make their own arrangement for transportation Limestone.
04.Interested party/agency shall ensure proper care and constant vigil of transportation activities and shall not cause any damages to any existing properties, which may result in Environmental hazards in the nearby area.
05.Interested party/agency shall have to abide by the guidelines of the Central Government/State Government and agency shall ensure compliance
06.NTPC reserves the right to access the capability of the applicant and viability of proposal, based on verification of documents and if required, cross verification for enlistment of the capable applicant(s).
07.All possible measures would have to be taken by the agency to avoid pollution, while transporting, no spillage of limestone would be permitted. If the process adopted by the agency is found defecit, NTPC-ramagundam shall have right to stop the issue of limestone.
08.All safety norms to be followed while handling, transportation and unloading of limestones.
