3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the

stipulated bid

submission closing

date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security

and Integrity

Pact (if applicable)

shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Salakati or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

(https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the

bidder would require

vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained

by submitting a questionnaire

available at our SRM

site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not

allotted any vendor code are required to

approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale

alongwith duly filled in questionnare for

issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

 

 

 

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

The agency to be responsible for the entire scope of work covering design, engineering, manufacturing, shop testing, dispatch to site with transit insurance, receipt at site, testing and commissioning of the 110 VDC NI- CD battery bank &

battery charger set for DC supply

system of west colony switchgear at NTPC BgTPP premises. The scope

of

work is

given in brief here under: -

 

 

 

1.Procurement of all materials and

such other materials required at site for completion of the facilities (other than agreed

to be issued by NTPC, if any)

including follow up and receipt, testing and commissioning of the same

at

site as

mentioned in SOQ.

 

 

 

 

 

2.All tools, tackles,

miscellaneous

consumables required for commissioning of the 110 VDC NI-CD battery banks &

battery

charger set

for

DC supply

system of west colony switchgear shall be in the scope of the agency.

 

 

3.The

agency to comply

with all the safety norms during the execution of the work to avoid the loss/ injury

to

material

and manpower.

 

 

 

 

 

4.The agency to arrange all the required measuring instruments (Insulation tester, Multimeter etc.) during testing & commissioning of the 110 VDC NI- CD battery bank & battery charger set for DC supply system of west colony

switchgear. The owner shall only

provide

the supply point

during testing and commissioning of the 110 VDC NI-CD

battery bank & battery charger set

for DC

supply system of

west colony switchgear.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

The bidder who wishes to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following qualifying requirements:-

6.1.The bidder should either be a manufacturer of 110 V DC Ni-Cd Battery bank & 110V

DC

Battery Charger System

in India or an authorized dealer/supplier conforming to IS : 10918/IEC60623 & IS:13947.

 

 

6.2.The bidder should have successfully executed the work of supply

of 110V DC Ni-Cd

Battery bank & 110V DC

Battery Charger System during the last seven (07) years, as on the date

of bid opening either

of

the following :-

One order valuing not less than Rs. 8.10 Lacs.

OR

Two orders valuing not less than Rs. 5.07 Lacs each.

OR

Three orders valuing not less than Rs. 4.05 Lacs each.

6.3.Financial criteria: The average annual financial

turnover of the bidder in the preceding (03) years as on the date of

bid opening shall be not less than Rs. 10.13 Lacs.

 

NOTE:

 

(i)Other income shall not be considered for arriving

at annual turnover.

(ii)The

word

#executed# means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the QR at para 6.2

even if

the total order is not completed/closed. The same shall be supported by documentary evidence issued by the owner.

 

(iii)The bidder shall submit documentary evidence/proof of meeting qualifying requirements stipulated above.

 

 

(iv)In case where audited result for the last financial year

as on the date of techno commercial bid opening

are

not

available,

the

financial result certified by

a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

In

case

bidder

is

not

able to

submit the

certificate

from

practicing

chartered accountant certifying

his financial parameters,

the

audited

result

of three

consecutive

financial

years

preceding

the last financial year shall be

considered for evaluating

the

financial

parameter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

1.Supply of 110 VDC, 90 AH Nickel-Cadmium battery bank system along with battery rack and accessories as per the

attached specification (conforming to relevant

IS). The design of battery bank shall be in two tier arrangement due

to

space constraint (room dimension is approx. 5.5 mtr X 2.5 mtr including space for maintenance).

 

a. 5% (i.e. 8 nos ) of the total required cells

shall be supplied in addition to above as spare cells as per specification.

 

b. 10% electrolyte (KOH) of total required

quantity shall be supplied as spare in separate containers/ jerry cans

in

addition to above as per specification.

 

 

2.Supply of 110 VDC, 40A battery charger complete with all accessories as per technical specification (conforming to relevant IS).

3.Supervision for commissioning of the 110 VDC, 90 AH, NI-CD battery bank & 110 VDC, 40 A battery charger set complete in all respect as per specification.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have

any claim arising out of such

action.
