TECHNICAL FEATURES:

1.The scope of work includes attending to various regular track maintenance

jobs such

as

preventive

maintenance,

attending

to

defects/

general complaints/overhauling/emergency/breakdown/ attending derailment/rerailment works etc. as

and when needed, attending to associated components like points and crossing, curves, level crossings, and

bridges etc. in

the awarded

track length.

The scope of work further includes renewal/ recoupment of rails, sleepers, ballasts and track fittings etc.,

overhauling of

track

at a

identified

section and its associated parts such as points and crossings, level crossings, curves,

minor soil

slips and road surface at level crossings, Ballast packing and boxing up including making

The scope also includes daily through checking of entire length of track including points and crossings,

to other by key-men & patrolling men and all other jobs as per IR specifications and

as per

annual programme

track

maintenance. All consumables like drill bit, hack saw blade, kerosene,

and petrol

etc.

2.The manpower to be engaged are predominantly NTPC Substantially affected people.

3.The scope of the area will be from 5.5 KM to 15.0 KM of MGR track

for TSTPS, Kaniha.

Turn over: The

average

annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the date of bid

opening shall not

be less

than Rs.123 Lakh.

NOTES

:

1.The work/ order executed means the bidder should have achieved the criteria

specified in the QR, even if the total

contract

is

not completed / closed. In case of contracts under execution as on

last date of the month proceeding the

month of publication of NIT, the

value of work executed till such date

will

be considered provided the same is certified

by the employer.

2.Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

3.In cases

where audited

results

of the last financial year as on

the

date

of

techno commercial bid opening are not

available,

the

financial

results

certified by a practicing chartered

accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case,

not

able to submit the certificate from practicing charted

accountant

certifying its financial parameters, the
