1.0DISCLAIMER

2.0INTRODUCTION
Meja Urja Nigam Pvt. Ltd. (MUNPL), a joint venture (JV) company between NTPC Limited and Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (UPRVUNL) is in the process of setting up a 2X660 MW coal based thermal power project at Meja Tahsil in Allahabad district of Uttar Pradesh.
3.0PURPOSE OF THE EOI
3.1NTPC is implementing large size Thermal Power Projects across the country with unit sizes ranging from 200 MW to 800 MW. NTPC has been doing Inhouse Engineering, Contracting and Procurement activities for Green Field Projects & Brown Field Projects, being executed by it.
3.2NTPC on behalf of MUNPL, desires to HIRE a Consultant, for preparing scheme for use of Treated Sewage for Meja TPP.
3.3NTPC invites EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI), from reputed Consultants (referred to as Consultants), who have experience of undertaking consultancy works of similar nature as per scope of work of Meja Project mentioned at 4.0 below.
4.0SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work includes the following:
1.To find out available sewage treatment plants of Municipality /Local bodies within a radius of 50 km of Meja TPP.
2.To identify most suitable STP(s) through

3.Based on the available quality from above plant, suggest additional treatment at a common STP to make it suitable for use in power plant CW system as per quality requirements as detailed below :

4.Transportation of treated sewage to Meja TPP from the above system including a suggestive pipe routing.
5.To study the possibility of using treated sewage water from Sirsa Village.
6.To work out the total BOQ & cost of the proposed sewage treatment & supply scheme for Meja TPP.
7.After the above surveys and studies, the Consultant shall prepare a comprehensive Feasibility Report (FR) for “Possible use of treated sewage water for Meja Thermal Power Project (2X660MW) of MUNPL” and submit the same to NTPC/MUNPL within 3 months from the date of award of the said consultancy contract.
5.0ELIGIBILITY
5.1The applicant should be a Consultancy Firm, who has undertaken similar kind of assignments as at point no. 4.0 above.
6.0INFORMATION REQUIRED AS PART OF EOI
Applicants are required to submit the information about their Company profile, their technical capabilities, manpower strength, work experience & financial status in the format as mentioned at Annexure I of Document No.
7.0PROCEDURE OF OBTAINING EOI DOCUMENTS
For submission of Expression of Interest, interested parties may obtain the complete set of EOI documents along with forms free of cost on submission of a written application / request letter to NTPC Limited at the address mentioned at 10.0 below.

10.2NTPC may seek additional information from interested applicants who respond to this EOI. However, NTPC reserves the right to modify the process or to not act upon the EOI or to ask for fresh EOI at a later date, without assigning any reason whatsoever.
11.0RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT APPLICATION
11.1Applicants may note that mere submission of EOI and/or submission of additional information do not automatically entitle them to any claim.
11.2Not withstanding anything contained in this EOI, NTPC reserves the right to accept or reject any application and annul the process and reject all applications at any time without any liability or any obligation for such acceptance, rejection or annulment without assigning any reason.
