NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)

FOR

Supply & Installation of Aluminium Aerial Maintenance Platform for NTPC-Township, Sector-33, Noida.

[Domestic Competitive Bidding]

1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

3.0 Bid Security shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non refundable) of the cost of the bidding documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed Account Payee Demand Draft in favor of NTPC Limited, payable at New Delhi/Noida or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart).

In order to be able to download the bidding documents the prospective bidders shall be required to compulsorily register themselves with the NTPC website which shall be a onetime process.

For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date along with duly filled in questionnaire for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work and other Specific details:

This covers the supply and installation of hydraulic/ electric operated Aerial Maintenance Platform for NTPC-Township, Sector-33, Noida.

The contractor shall be liable for any damages to property caused by planting and transplanting operations. All areas and construction disturbed shall be restored to their original condition to the satisfaction of the consultant / Engineer In Charge.

Work shall be performed and supervised at all times by qualified personnel.

The Scope of work also includes the following:

1. Preparation of scheme and obtaining the approval of the Engineer-in-charge. Contractor's scope shall also include preparation of data sheet for all bought out items and obtaining the approval of the same from Engineer-in-charge.

Note: Agencies are advised to visit the site to assess the conditions before quoting against the work. Any clarifications if any required shall be brought out before quoting the rates.

6.0 Prospective Bidders from U.P State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

7.1 Bidder should be either manufacturer or authorized distributor of hydraulic/ electric operated Aerial Maintenance Platform.

7.2 The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening shall not be at less than Rs.5,85,000.00 (Rupees Five Lakhs Eighty Five Thousand only).

Note:

• While computing the turnover other income shall not be considered.

• In case where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of Techno-commercial bid opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters. Further, a certificate would be required from the CEO/CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding documents stating that the financial results of the company are under audit as on the date of Techno-commercial bid opening and the certificate from the practicing Chartered Accountant certifying the financial parameters is not available.

7.3 The bidder should have executed any one of the following works within the preceding seven (07) years as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening, which includes supply of hydraulic/ electric operated Aerial Maintenance Platform:

1. One completed work with value not less than Rs.4.68 lakh.

OR

2. Two completed works with value not less than Rs.2.93 lakh each.

OR

3. Three completed works with value not less than Rs.2.34 lakh each.

The work "executed" means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in the QR, even if the total contract is not completed / closed.

One reference work shall mean the work executed at one location / campus through a single contract.

In case of contracts under execution as on date of bid opening, the value of work completed till the date of bid opening will be considered provided the value of executed work is certified by the employer.

The reference works executed by the bidder's group company / subsidiary company shall not be considered for its qualification.

8.0 Issuance of bidding documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the Notice Inviting Tender [NIT] for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
