4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at RAIPUR or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

bidder would require |
vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained |
by submitting a questionnaire |
available at our SRM |
site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not |
allotted any vendor code are required to |
approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale |

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail
The lighting & welding network is the life line of the Plant. Area includes all the buildings and plant area of Unit 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 within the main plant premises like Boiler, turbine, Transformer yard, Chimney, including all areas and all elevations up to ESP control room. Switchyard (765 KV, 400 KV, 132KV) and switchyard building, Street lights inside
switchyard, service buildings and any other areas or buildings as decided by EIC. |

Time is the essence of the contract and contractor should deploy sufficient and qualified |
manpower |
that are well |
conversant with the site to execute the work within the specified time limit and smooth |
operation |
of maintenance |
activities. |
|
|
6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.
7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
5.1 The bidder should have executed maintenance / Overhauling / Erection and commissioning works of LT or HT electrical systems / any of the equipments #switchgear, transformer, MCC, HT/LT motors/ Lighting and welding network/ Switchyard in any thermal power plant unit sizing 200 MW or above of order value meeting any one of the following criteria during the last seven (7) years as on date of bid opening.
a)One order of value not less than Rs 31.22 Lakhs
OR
b)Two orders of value not less than Rs 19.51 Lakhs each
OR
c)Three orders of value not less than Rs 15.61 Lakhs each
5.2The bidder should have valid class A electrical license.
5.3Financial Criteria:
5.3.1 |
The average annual turnover of the Bidders, in the preceding three (3) financial years as |

years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial |
parameters. |

5.3.3While computing annual turnover, other income shall not be considered.
8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without
assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have |
any claim arising out of such |
action. |
