For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date along with duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.
7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

SUBJECT : Biennial Maintenance of Pressure Parts, Coal Burners & Misc. works of Stage I & II Boilers of Talcher Thermal Power Station.
QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS
1.0 BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK :
The proposal involves the following works in the 60MW & 110MW Boilers of Talcher Thermal.
(i)Maintenance of Boiler Pressure Parts.
(ii)Maintenance of HP valves, LP valves, Soot Blowers, Oil guns, Coal Burners, Dampers, Servicing of Oil Pump / water pump etc.
(iii)Insulation & Refractory work of Boiler, Wire Mesh work inside the Boiler.
(iv)Fabrication & Erection of structural work, Bend fabrication, Hanger support replacement and servicing.
(v)Boiler Peep hole & man hole.
(vi)Inspection of 60 MW Boiler roof tubes & Super Heater Coils.
(vii)Replacement of Metallic &
2.0 ESTIMATED VALUE : Rs.258.57 Lac.
3.0 DURATION OF CONTRACT : 24 Months.
The bidder who wishes to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following Qualifying Requirements.
4.0 QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS : -
(I) TECHNICAL QR :-
(a) The bidders must have the experience of carrying out maintenance work of Boiler Pressure Parts or overhauling of Boiler Pressure Parts in units of 60MW boiler or above rating (Steaming capacity > 270 TPH) for any industrial organization / utility.
(b)The bidder must be an IBR approved agency (Approved documents in the name of the agency, from concerned IBR approving authority, to be submitted along with bid documents.)
(c)The agency must have a valid special class repairer license of Boiler, U/R 392 of Indian Boiler regulation Act issued / endorsed by Directorate of Factories & Boilers, Odisha. (Relevant Documents copies must be submitted alongwith the bid documents)
(d)The bidder must have PF code, PAN number & Service Tax Number & ESI number (Documents copies must be submitted along with the bid documents)
(e)The bidder should have executed similar order during last seven (07) years reckoned as on the date of bid opening with any of the following.
a) Value of at least Rs.103.43 Lacs in case of single order, or
b) Value of at least Rs.64.64 Lacs each in case of two orders, or c) Value of at least Rs.51.72 Lacs each in case of three orders.
Note :- Similar Orders would mean the bidder must have the experience of carrying out maintenance work of Boiler Pressure Parts or overhauling of Boiler Pressure Parts in units of 60 MW boiler or above rating Steaming capacity >or= 270 TPH) for any industrial organization / utility.

(II) FINANCIAL CRITERIA: -
(A) AVERAGE ANNUAL TURNOVER:
The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of bid opening, shall not be less than INR 129.29 Lacs (Rupees One Crore Twenty Nine Lac & Twenty Nine Thousand only)
(B)The word “executed” means that the bidder should have achieved the process specified in the QR at para 4.0 (I) even if total contract is not completed / closed.
(C)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover as specified in QR para 4.0 (II) (A).
(D)In case, where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable.
5.0 Notwithstanding anything stated above, the Employer reserves the right to assess the capabilities & capacity to of the Bidder / his collaborators / associates / subsidiaries / group companies to perform the contract, should be the circumstances warrant such assessment in the overall interest of the Employer.
6.0 Additional Information :-
The following information is required from the contractor about the companies where similar orders have been executed.
1) Name of the customer / company where similar order has been executed. 2) Year of execution.
3) Name & Designation (Phone No., Fax No., Email ID) of contract person of the customer.
7.0 Tender documents shall be sent Online only to those vendors who deposit the tender fee at least 7 days before the tender document sale closing day to enable the contracts department to send the bid documents in the email id of the agency in time. The agencies who are not registered with NTPC Ltd as vendors and have not been issued vendor codes are to apply for vendor code along with the following details like PAN card, address, telephone & mobile No. Fax No, email id, company registration documents etc. For depositing of the tender online, a valid
Class IIIB digital signature of the authorized person of the agency is a prerequisite. The agencies not having NTPC vendor code must apply at least two days before the last date of document sale.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
