(I) BARH STPP invites online bids on Single Stage Two Envelope bidding basis
(II) BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK
Scope of work includes WBM Road work, Premix carpeting work, Earth work, PCC , Brick Work, Plastering, , drainage work in road side & pathway area, etc at NTPC Barh Township at Barh STPP as per Latest CPWD specification, terms & conditions and direction of EIC.
(III) NTPC intends to finance the subject package through Domestic/Own Resources.
(IV) Detailed specification, scope of work and terms & conditions are given in the bidding documents, which are available for examination and sale at the address given below and as per the following schedule:

(VI) BENEFITS/EXEMPTIONS TO SUPPLIES FOR MEGA POWER PROJECTS
Barh Super Thermal Power Project (5X660 MW) has been declared a Super Power Project by Ministry of Power, Govt. of India. Accordingly, supplies of goods for this package shall be eligible for the benefits / exemptions as per provisions of relevant policy & Notifications of Govt. of India.”
(VII) QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT FOR BIDDERS
The bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following Qualifying Requirements.
1.1Bidder should either be a Company registered under the company Act 1956 or a Partnership / Proprietorship Firm.
1.2The bidder should have executed / completed work of construction of road work with premix as per following criterion within the preceding seven (7) years from the date of Techno- Commercial Bid opening:
(i)Single Contract of value not less than Rs. 1.71 Crores.
OR
(ii)Two Contracts of value not less than Rs. 1.07 Crores each.
OR
(iii)Three Contracts of value not less than Rs. 85.7 Lakhs each.

1.3.1The Average Annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) Financial Years as on the date of
1.3.2In case where audited financial results for the last preceding financial year is not available, certification of Financial Statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be acceptable.
Note: Other Income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.
2.0Bidders should have a valid Provident Fund code number (PF) & PAN and Service Tax Registration Number.
3.0Notwithstanding anything stated above, the Employer reserves the right to assess the capabilities and capacity of the bidder to perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in the overall interest of the employer.
(VIII) NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation for
Bids without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no Bidder / intending Bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
(IX) Prospective Bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents from office of NTPC.

(XI) Issuance of Bidding Documents to any Bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered to be qualified. Bids shall be submitted online and opened at the address given below in the presence of Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend the bid opening. Bidder shall furnish Bid Security, Power of Attorney, Integrity pact in physical form as detailed in Bidding Documents before the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below.
(XII) Transfer of Bidding Documents purchased by one intending Bidder to another is not permissible.
