3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

The scope of work under this contract is to carry out RLA and Reconditioning with Thermal barrier coating of hot gas casing of 13 D2 (Make:-Alstom) gas turbine at NTPC Anta, Distt:- Baran, Rajasthan (India)

The Gas Turbine is ABB make; Model 13D2 of 88.71 MW capacity. The Combustion chamber is single silo type. Gas Turbine has five stages and compressor is axial flow type with 18 stages.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.1The Bidder should be a Gas Turbine manufacturer / Manufacturer of Gas Turbine hot gas casing / Refurbishment agency of Gas Turbine hot gas casing and should have carried out refurbishment /manufacture of at least one (01) no of Hot Gas Casing of Silo type of Gas Turbine of capacity 98 MW (ISO) and above at a TIT of 1005 C which should have completed successful operation of at least one HGPI or 16000 EOH whichever is more.

AND

1.2Bidder must either himself possess or have legitimate access for the necessary technology of RLA and refurbishment with thermal barrier coating of hot gas casing of Alstom make Gas Turbine model 13 D2 of capacity of 98 MW (ISO) and above at TIT of 1005ºC 'OR' Alstom make gas turbine model -13E1 of capacity 170 (ISO) and above at TIT-1060 C or RLA and refurbishment of inner casing/mixing chamber of Siemens/ansaldo/BHEL make gas turbine model # V94.2 of capacity -232.5 MW (ISO) and above at TIT of 1060 C.

1.3The bidder can be a licensee or authorized agent of Gas Turbine original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)/Refurbishment agency. In such case, the bidder can be considered qualified based on the experience of their Principal who meets the requirments mentioned at Para 1.01 & 1.02 above.

1.4NTPC has the right to assess the capability and capacity of the bidder for carrying out the refurbishment with thermal barrier coating of 13 D2 Hot gas Casing of Gas Turbine.

2.0 The bidder should have executed any one of the following similar work during the preceding five years from the date of techno-commercial bid opening:

i)One similar order each valuing not be less than Rs. 144.73 lacs. OR

ii)Two similar orders each valuing not less than Rs. 90.46 lacs. OR

iii)Three similar orders each valuing not less than Rs. 72.36 lacs.

3.0 The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of Techno-commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 180.91 lacs.

Note:

a.#Similar works# means any work which includes refurbishment with TBC coating of super alloy IN-617 of gas turbine hot gas path component of a silo type gas turbine such as inner casing or mixing chamber of siemens/ansaldo/BHEL make gas turbine or hot gas casing & corrugated liner of Alstom make gas turbine of rating 88MW and above and TIT of 1005 deg C and above.

b.The word #executed# mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if the total contract is started earlier and/or is not completed/closed.

c.In case of orders under execution, the value of work executed till the date of opening of Techno-commercial proposal as certified by the client shall be considered.

d.While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.

e.In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year not available certification of financial statement from a Charted Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

All the documentary support shall be given by for above requirements.

The bidder must submit all the supporting documents like details of work order involving above mentioned work, proof of completion, audit balance sheet of last three years, VAT registration, PAN, Service tax registration etc. to establish their credential in the line with the qualifying requirements.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
