3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at KAHALGAON or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

The scope of the specification covers design, engineering, manufacture, testing at works, transportation to site, receipt, handling, in plant movement, , storage at site, erection and commissioning of Transformers and inclusive of necessary tools and tackles and supply of mandatory spares & Maintenance equipment and 5% extra transformer oil. The bill of material is following:

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.0 In addition to the requirements stipulated in Section ITB (Instructions to Bidder), the following shall also apply:

1.1.The Bidder should have its own facilities for conducting all routine tests and type tests (Except short circuit test).

1.2.250MVA, 15.75/400kV or higher rated oil filled transformer manufactured by the bidder should have been successfully type tested and short circuit tested.

1.3.The bidder should have manufactured and supplied at least 250MVA, 15.75/420KV or above class oil filled transformer during last 07(seven) years ending last day of the month previous to the one in which applications are invited and should have executed either of the following:

(i) Three similar orders executed each costing not less than Rs. 322.85 Lakhs. Or

(ii) Two similar orders executed each costing not less than Rs. 403.57 Lakhs. Or

(iii) One similar order executed costing not less than Rs. 645.71 Lakhs.

1.4The bidder should have manufactured and supplied at least 250MVA, 15.75/420KV or above class oil filled transformer, which should have been in successful operation for at least two(02) years prior to the date of Techno-Commercial Bid Opening.

1.5Average annual financial turnover of the bidder during preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs.807.14 Lakhs.

Note:

(a)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

(b)In cases where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable.

(c)The word #executed# means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the QR even if the total order is not completed/ closed. The same shall be supported by documentary evidence issued by the owner.

(d)Similar orders means #Manufacture and Supply of at least 250MVA, 15.75/420kV or above class oil filled transformer#.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
