4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Mouda or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained |
by submitting a questionnaire |

site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not |
allotted any vendor code are required to |

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail Supply of Alloy Steel Pipes for Mouda
6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.
7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
A) QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS (QR) FOR BIDDERS:
The bidders are required to fulfil the following:
a)The bidder must be an manufacturer or supplier of pipes as per ASTM A335 (Alloy Steel Seamless Pipes) and /or ASTM A 106, and / or SA 234.
b)The bidder must have successfully executed the supply order(s) of Alloy Steel Pipes as per ASTM A 335 and ASTM
A106 during last seven (07) years as on the date of bid opening in:
i)Single contract/order of value not less than Rs. 08.00 Lakhs OR
ii)Two contracts/order of value not less than Rs. 05.00 Lakhs each
OR
iii)Three contracts/order of value not less than Rs. 04.00 Lakhs each
c) The average annual financial turnover of the bidder during the preceding three (03) financial years as on date of bid opening shall not be less than INR 10.00 Lakhs (Rupees Ten Lakhs Only).
d) In case where audited results for the |
last financial year as on |
the date of techno-commercial bid opening are not |
available, the financial results certified |
by a practicing Chartered |
Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, |
Bidder is not able to submit the certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters.
Note:
1. Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.
2. Notwithstanding anything stated above, the Employer reserves the right to undertake a physical assessment of the capacity & capabilities including financial capacity & capabilities of the Bidders/ his collaborator(s)/ associate(s)/ subsidiary(ies)/ group companu(ies) to perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in the overall interest of the Employer. The physical assessment shall include but not be limited to the assessment of the office/facilities/bankers/reference works by the employer. A negative determination of such assessment of capacity and capabilities may result in the rejection of the bid.
3. The word "executed" means that the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in the above OR within proceeding seven (07) years period even if the contract has been started earlier and/or is not completed/ closed.
8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without
assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
