3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Mouda or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

SHIFTING OF MAKE UP WATER PIPELINES OF NTPC MOUDA STAGE-I & II CROSSING THROUGH PROPOSED ASH DYKE AREA OF NTPC MOUDA STAGE-II

Scope of work includes following activities: 1.Excavation of the existing pipe line

2.Dismantling the 900 NB pipes which includes cleaning and removal of damaged wrapping coating material 3.Excavation for laying of the pipe line at new location and back filling as per the technical specification.

4.Shot blasting of the cleaned 900 NB pipes, wrapping coating, Erection including alignment, welding and testing as per the technical specifications.

5.Additional fitting like pipe pieces, valves, flanges, bends of all angles, reducers, diffusers, junctions, tees, fixing in position, welding etc. with no extra claim.

6.All culverts associated with pipeline crossings across roads. Railway tracks, embankments, channels boundary wall, drain etc. 7.Transportation of material from store or any other location where the material is stacked to execution site shall be in Contractor#s scope.

8.Scrap/balance material/Dismantled pipes shall be returned to NTPC Store or any other location identified by NTPC.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

The bidder who wishes to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that it fulfills the Qualifying Requirements stipulated hereunder:

1) The bidder should have executed contract(s) of laying of underground steel/ CI pipeline of minimum diameter of 500 NB and above during the last seven (07) years, meeting any of the following criteria as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening in

a)Single Contract of value not less than INR 245 Lakhs. OR

b)Two contracts of value not less than INR 153 Lakhs each. OR

c)Three contracts of value not less than INR 122 Lakhs each.

Note: The term #executed# means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in the above Qualifying Requirements, even if the contract has been started earlier and/or is not completed /closed.

2) Financial Criteria for Bidder:

2.1)The average annual turnover of the Bidder in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs.306 Lac (Rupees Three Hundred Six Lac only).

2.2)In cases where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening are not available , the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters.

Note: Other Income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
