NTPC Limited invites bids from eligible bidders for empanelment of Travel agencies for NTPC-SRHQ, Secunderabad on Single Stage Two Envelope bidding basis without Reverse Auction as per the brief Scope of Work mentioned hereunder.
1.0.0Brief Scope of Work :-
Providing registered Taxis and Buses as per the requirement of NTPC-SRHQ at Kavadiguda for local movement and for Outstation journey. Detailed scope of work is given separately (Refer Section VI of bid documents)

3.0.0 BID SUBMISSION
3.1.0
The bid shall be opened in Two Stages-
(i) FIRST Stage : Techno-commercial Bid (Date of opening as mentioned above)
(ii) SECOND Stage: Price Bid (Date of opening to be informed later)
Bids shall be submitted online and opened at the address given below. Bidder shall furnish Bid Security, No Deviation Certificate, Power of Attorney, and Letter of Undertaking separately offline as detailed in Bidding Documents by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below.
As per the provisions of Bidding Documents, the bidders shall submit “Techno- Commercial Bid and Price Bid”, within the bid submission date and time as mentioned above. Techno-Commercial bid will be opened on the same date and time as specified at para 2.0.0 above.
All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security/ Bid Guarantee for an amount of Rs. 33,600/- (Rupees Thirty three thousand six hundred only) in Indian Rupees , as stipulated in the Bidding Documents.
Bids without requisite Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) / Bid Security will not be considered for opening and will be rejected as non-responsive and off-line documents returned to the bidders without being opened.
The Price Bid opening date shall be intimated separately by NTPC to those bidders who have been considered qualified and whose Techno-Commercial Bids have been found to be responsive.
4.0.0QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS FOR BIDDERS :
4.1.0Bidder should have a fleet of Vehicles ( Car / SUV) with a Minimum of 40 Nos vehicles manufactured in the year 2013 or later, operating with them and of models as mentioned in Notes- a) and b) below , out of which the agency should have 40 %
of vehicles registered in their name and balance 60% of vehicles can be either operated on lease basis or holding Power of Attorney in their favor to operate the vehicles on commercial basis.
4.1.1The agency should have a minimum experience of 3 Years in running a travel agency business and should have Service Tax/ VAT Registration and PAN . The agency should have experience in working with any Govt. Dept/ Public Sector Organization ,

Reputed Corporate House / Institutions in the past.
4.2.0FINANCIAL CRITERIA
4T.2.1The average annual turnover of the prospective bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years from bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 8.40 Lakhs (Indian Rupees Eight lakhs Forty thousand only).
Note:-
The type of fleet of Vehicles ( Car / SUV) should be as below:
(a.)CAR -(i) TATA Indica V2/ TATA Vista/Maruti Swift/Toyota Etios Liva, (ii) TATA Indigo/Mahindra Verito/ Toyota Etios/ Maruti Swift Dzire, (iii) Honda City/ Nissan Sunny/ Volkswagen Vento, (iv) Toyota Corolla Altis/ Skoda Octavia, (v) Toyota Camry/ Skoda Superb
(b.)SUV/MPV:-(i)Mahindra Scorpio/ Maruti Ertiga/ Chevrolet Tavera, (ii) Toyota Innova/Mahindra XUV-500/ TATA Safari Storm, (iii) Toyota Fortuner /Honda CRV / Ford Endeavor/ Mitsubishi Pajero.
The Bidder should submit/upload Documentary proof related to minimum requirements as stated above in, along with the bid.
It may also be noted that successful bidder/bidders have to produce original certificates (like RC book, PAC, lease agreement copy )for verification before award of the work.
Bidder shall provide documentary evidence of Service Tax, ,and power of attorney at the time of bidding. Necessary registration with local bodies under Shops & Establishment Act or other applicable acts of State / Central Govt. authorities for providing vehicles, if applicable, shall be obtained by the agency before commencement of work and submitted to EIC for verification.
4444.3 The Bidder shall submit attested copies of original documents defining the constitution or legal status, place of registration, and principal place of business; written power of attorney of of the signatory of the Bid to commit the Bidder; along with the bid.
5.0.0OTHER GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
iThe bidder shall submit the following documents towards proof for meeting the qualifying requirements along with their bid:-
iiDetails of Order copies and other documentary evidences for meeting the requirements at Clause 4.0.0 above.
iii Documentary evidences for establishing the financial parameters
6.0.0REQUIREMENTS FOR REQUEST OF BID DOCUMENTS:

6.1.0The prospective bidders are requested to visit www.ntpctender.com site and get acquainted with e-tender procedure.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Secunderabad/Hyderabad or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart ).
For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site (Guidelines to Bidders) as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users, not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to last date of tender fee payment along with duly filled- in questionnaire available at Pre-requisite tab under 'e-tender' at ntpctender.com for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/ password.
6.2.0Issuance of bid documents to any Bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered to be qualified. Bids shall be submitted online and opened at the address given below. Bidder shall furnish Bid Security, No Deviation Certificate, Power of Attorney and Letter of Undertaking separately offline as detailed in Bidding Documents by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below.
6.4.0Prospective bidders from U.P. state are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents from office of NTPC.
6.5.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/ withdraw the Invitation For Bids without assigning any reason; whatsoever, and in such case no bidder/ intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
6.6.0NTPC Limited reserves the right to accept/ reject any or all applications / bids in part or full.
6.7.0The bidder along with bid must submit documentary evidence in support of meeting qualifying requirements such as Copy of Balance sheet and Profit & Loss account for the specified period, Proof of orders being executed, NSIC certificate wherever applicable, BIS certificate, Registration certificate with department of industries, etc.
7.0.0IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO BIDDER
i)The registered prospective bidders who wish to download the bidding documents shall be prompted to enter his user id & password. Subsequent to entering of user id & password and acceptance of the same by the system, the prospective bidder shall be routed to payment gateway through SRM (e-bidding) for making payment towards cost of bidding documents. On successful payment of cost of bidding documents and the details, the prospective bidder shall be authorized to download the bidding documents and the details of the prospective bidder shall be stored by the system.
