1NTPC invites on-line bids on Single Stage Two Envelope bidding basis from eligible bidders for above said package as per the Scope of Work briefly mentioned hereinafter.

The bidder after transferring the money through ECS shall intimate NTPC in the address of communication below that they have transferred the money for purchasing the bid documents along with an application. The bidders shall also indicate the unique transaction reference of the ECS transaction in their application for enabling the participation of the bidder by NTPC.
5Bid Security and Power of Attorney (as per ITB clause no 11.2(b)) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security shall be treated as non- responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.
6QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT FOR BIDDERS
The Bidder who wishes to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that it fulfills the Qualifying Requirements stipulated hereunder:-
1. Technical:-
1.1.The bidder shall be a manufacturer of numerical relays for generator protection system and transformers
AND
1.2.The bidder should have supplied, installed and commissioned at least five numbers of numerical relay protection system for power plants of 100MW or higher capacity, in the last 5 years, out of which two numbers have completed successful operation of one year as on date of bid opening.
2. Financial:-
2.1 The bidder should have successfully executed similar works during the last SEVEN years reckoned from the date of bid opening, as any of the following:
Single Contract of value not less than Rs.57.16 Lakhs
OR
Two Contracts of value not less than Rs.35.73 Lakhs each
OR
Three Contracts of value not less than Rs.28.58 Lakhs each
Similar work means supply, installation and commissioning of numerical relay protection system for power plants.
2.2The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than ` 35.73 L
NOTE: - The relevant documents such as Letter of Award, proof of execution of work etc., shall be submitted along with bid. All claims need to be supported by documentary evidence and necessary contact details including names and telephone numbers & email ID of the customers.
The Employer at its discretion may seek any clarification and/or documentary evidence.
7NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/ withdraw the IFB for subject Package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
8Issuance of bid documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered to be qualified. Bids shall be submitted and opened at the address given below in the presence of bidder’s representatives who choose to attend the bid opening.
9Transfer of Bidding Documents purchased by one intending Bidder to another is not permissible. Parties banned by any NTPC Projects, Corporate Centre /Southern Region HQ / NTPC Kayamkulam are not eligible to participate.
