NOTICE
INVITATION OF EOI FOR COLLECTION AND SALE OF CENOSPHERE FROM ASH PONDS OF NTPC KAHALGAON ON PAYMENT BASIS
1.This is for information of all that approx. 300 (Three Hundred) MT Cenosphere is expected to be available over a period of one year from Ash Ponds of NTPC Kahalgaon on payment basis through e- auctioning on ‘as is where is’ basis.

3.The Ash ponds shall be auctioned on ‘as is where is’ basis without any assurance of quality and quantity of Cenosphere available in Ash Ponds.
4.The party quoting the highest price of equal to or above the reserve/start price shall be awarded the contract. The successful bidder shall have exclusive rights for collection and sale of Cenosphere from all ash dykes of NTPC Kahalgaon.
5.The contracts shall be issued on receipt of Contract Performane Guaranttee( CPG) (equivalent to 10% of annual value of contract).
6.The successful bidder shall submit first instalment 20% of the annual award value within (01) one month of placement of award/delivery order. The balance payment of 20%, 30% and 30% of annual contract value shall be deposited within 4th ,7th ,10th months respectively. Failing which contract shall be terminated immediately.
7.No other material except CENOSPHERE shall be collected. In case such incident takes place, the agency shall be debarred from KhSTPS and suitable legal action shall be taken.
8.The successful bidder shall be responsible for meeting all applicable statutory requirements under various Acts viz. relating to risk and liability of its workforce, applicable taxes & duties, necessary licenses, clearances etc.
9.Selection of area of collection/lifting Zone shall be under discretion of NTPC Limited. Requirement of plant shall reign supreme with respect to charging /stopping of any pond.
