Procurement of 300NB MS ERW Pipes for 4TH Ash Disposal Pipeline to Mine.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK:

Procurement of 300NB MS ERW Pipes for 4TH Ash Disposal Pipeline to Mine. COMPLETION PERIOD: 6 Months

2. The bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following requirements.

2.1.QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

(i) The bidder must be a manufacturer of MSERW pipes of 150 mm NB or above with Grade Fe-410 conforming to IS

3589:2001.
(ii)	The bidder should have	in house testing facilities for carrying out testing	at their works for MSERW pipes as per
IS 3589:2001 OR should get		the testing done from NABL/Govt. accredited lab	as per relevant BIS Standard, for which
the Bidder has to submit a declaration from where the materials are to be tested.
2.2	The bidder should have	successfully executed similar orders during the last	07(seven) years reckoned as on the date
of	bid opening with either of	the following:-

i.Value of at least Rs 120.58 Lacs for single similar order,

OR

ii. Value of at least Rs 75.36 Lacs each for two similar orders, OR

iii.Value of at least Rs 60.29 Lacs each for three similar orders

Similar orders means the bidder should have successfully executed the supply of MSERW pipes of 150 mm NB or above with grade Fe-410 conforming to IS 3589:2001

3.0	FINANCIAL CRITERIA:
AVERAGE ANNUAL TURNOVER (ATO): The average annual turnover of the								bidder	in the preceding	three	(3)
financial years as on the date		of bid opening	shall not be	less	than Rs.		301.44	Lacs	(Rupees Three Hundred		One
Lac and Forty Four Thousand only).
4.0	Notes:
(i) The work #executed# means that the bidder should have				achieved the		specified		QR at Para 2.2 even if total contract
is not completed/closed. In case of order under execution,				the	value	of	work	executed	till the date of	opening of
Techno-Commercial Proposal as		certified by the	bidder shall	be considered.

(ii)The bidder has to produce necessary proof of the orders executed.

(iii)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover as specified in QR Para 3.0.

(iv)	In	case, where audited results	for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial
statements		from a practicing Chartered	Accountant shall also be considered acceptable.

(v)Notwithstanding anything stated above, NTPC reserves the right to assess the bidder#s capability & capacity of the bidder to perform the contract, should circumstances warrant such assessment in the overall interest of the NTPC Ltd.

(vi)The employer also reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/ withdraw the invitation for bids without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/ intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

5.0ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:-

The following information is also required from the bidders about the companies where similar orders have been executed.

I.Name of the customer/ company where similar order has been executed.

II. Year of execution.

III.Name & designation (Phone No. / Fax No. / email-id) of contact person of the customer.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such
