3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Faridabad or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail SUPPLY OF BURNER INSERT RINGS OF GT TO FGPS

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

Qualifying Requirements for Bid validation:

1.1 The bidder should be original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of Siemens make Gas Turbines / manufacturer of Siemens make Gas Turbine sheet metal hot path components or its equivalent design and have already supplied at least 16 nos of burner insert rings for Siemens make Gas Turbines or its equivalent design of minimum 100 MW ISO rating, which should have satisfactorily competed one hot gas path inspection or major overhaul (minimum 15000 EOH) as on the date of bid opening.

AND

1.2 Bidder must either himself possess or have access to the necessary technology for manufacturing of sheet metal components of Siemens make Gas Turbines model no V94.2 or its equivalent design applicable for Faridabad Gas Power station having ISO rating of 159 MW at TIT of 1060 Deg C.

The bidder at his option can also outsource any of the activities required for manufacturing of above sheet metal components, subject to the condition that the chosen outsource agency by the bidder also has the necessary technology for manufacturing the said components of Siemens Gas Turbine model no V94.2 or its equivalent design applicable for NTPC Faridabad having ISO rating of 159 MW with TIT of 1060Deg.

1.3The bidder can be licensee or authorized agent of Gas Turbine original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or its equivalent design

.In such case, the bidder can be considered qualified based on the experience of the principal who meets the requirement mentioned at

1.1and 1.2 above.

1.4The bidder should have executed the supply of Sheet Metal Components for Gas Turbine in last 7 years meeting any one of the criteria as on the date of Bid Opening:

a)Single (1) order of contract value not less than Indian Rupee 3.84 million or equivalent in foreign currecy.

OR

b) Two(2) orders ,each of contract value not less than Indian Rupee 2.40 million or equivalent foreign currency OR

c)Three(3) orders ,each of contact value not less than Indian Rupees 1.92 million or equivalent in foreign currency .

1.5The average annual turnover of the bidder for proceeding three(3) completed financial years on the date of Bid opening shall not be less than INR 4.8 million or equivalent in foreign currency.

* NTPC reserves the right to assess the capability and capacity of the bidder for carrying out the manufacturing of Sheet Metal Components for its Siemens V94.2 machine installed at Faridabad Gas Power Station.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation For Bids (IFB) for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
