3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail Tender Fee is Rs 2363.00

Mode of payment for purchase of tender documents.

(a)On-Line:The vendor can view /download the tender document after logging in our e-tender site.

After logging in to our e-tender site,the interested bidder can pay the tender fee as mentioned in the"Bidder's Manual" and "Guidelines to Bidders"which are available on the SRM login screen.

(b)Off-Line:Pay Order/ Crossed Demand Draft/Banker's Cheque in favour of NTPC Limited and drawn preferably on SBI, NTPC campus, Barh (Branch Code:10085).

(c)Exemption on cost of tender document:SSI units of Bihar/MSME / SSI units (of other states) registered with the National Small Scale Industries Corporation shall be exempted from the payment of tender fee. Tenderers seeking exemption should submit a Photocopy of valid registration certificate preferably attested by Notary/Gazetted Officer/ Magistrate 1st class, giving details such as validity, stores etc.

Following documents must be uploaded in the c-folder, failing which the offer shall be liable for rejection:

(i)Qualifying requirement: Total credential to fulfill all the criteria as mentioned in Qualifying requirement of the NIT.

ii)Company details:

a)Document related to legal status of the bidder.(i.e sole proprietorship concern/partnership firm/private limited company/public limited companies and statutory corporation/consortium/joint venture),Name and address(es) of the sole proprietor/partners/board of directors.

b)Memorandum and article of association/photo copy of partnership deed/affidavit of proprietorship. c)Copy of service tax registration certificate.

d)Copy of valid independent PF code no.issued by concerned RPFC. e)Copy of PAN card.

SCOPE OF WORK:

01. The scope of the work involved is dredging for the following area:

Existing channel near intake well system connected with Main stream of river ganga. 02. Dimension of the area and depth (Refer Sketch as Annexure-D)

(a)Length in downstream from intake well=1000M Width=40M

Average Depth of cutting presumed is =2.5m (Assuming clear water depth of minimum 3.5M to 4M) Quantity of dredging=1000X40X2.5=100000 cum

(b)Length in Upstream from intake well=1000M Width=40M

Average Depth of cutting presumed is =2.5m, (Assuming clear water depth of minimum 3.5M to 4M) Quantity of dredging=1000X40X2.5=100000 cum

Hence Total quantity of dredging shall be=100000 cum+ 100000 cum=200000 cum.

The above quantity as calculated is tentative and for estimate purpose. The actual quantity shall be as per pre & post dredging survey taken during dredging.

Contractor has to deploy dredger with suitable capacity to dredge minimum of 1100 cum of slurry per hour or 250 cum solid per hour with Minimum cutting width is 20M to a depth of Minimum 6 metre and discharge pipe diameter of Minimum 300 MM for meeting the requirement as per technical specification.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.0 The bidder should have successfully executed the work of # Dredging in Waterways/Water Channel/Reservoir/Dam/Canal/River/Ports/Dockyard/Naval or any combination of the above mentioned dredging works# within the preceding seven (7) years prior to the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening as per the following criteria:

One work of value not less than Rs 301.12 Lacs

OR

Two works of value not less than Rs 188.20 Lacs each.

OR

Three works of value not less than Rs 150.56 Lacs each.

2.0 The Bidder should either be a company registered under the companies Act, 1956 or a Partnership/Proprietorship Firm.

3.0 The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid proposal should not be less than Rs 376.4 Lacs.

4.0 The Bidder should have a valid Provident Fund Code number (PF) & PAN and Service Tax Registration Number.

Note :

i.Notwithstanding anything stated above, the Employer reserves the right to assess the capabilities & capacity of the Bidder/ his Collaborators/ his Associates/ Subsidiaries/ Group companies to perform the contract, should be the circumstances warrant such assessment in over all interest of the Employer.

ii.The work #executed# mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if the total contract is started earlier and/ or is not completed/closed.

iii.In case of orders under execution, the value of work executed till the date of bid opening of Techno-Commercial bid proposal as certified by the Client shall be considered.

iv.While computing the annual turnover, other income shall not be considered.

v.In the cases where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing chartered accountant shall also be acceptable.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
