1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the

stipulated bid	submission closing	date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security
and Integrity	Pact (if applicable)	shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Salakati or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

(https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the			bidder would require
vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained	by submitting a questionnaire		available at our SRM
site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not		allotted any vendor code are required to
approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale	Close date	alongwith duly filled in questionnare for
issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

-Supply of pumps, piping including valves and fittings excluding civil works. -Foundation details with grout and concrete has to be provided by agency. -Installation of pumps, piping including valves and fittings.

-Commissioning and trail run of the system.

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEAUTURES:

Works : Supply, erection and commissioning of 2 nos. horizontal centrifugal pump#s per pump house in 3 nos. pump houses.

Specifications of the pumps shall be as per the following

1. Salient features for drinking water supply pump of AEGCL colony

1.1Type of Pump : Horizontal centrifugal pumps

1.2Capacity & total head : Minimum discharge of 35cum/hr at a head of 30M or more.

1.3 Liquid to be handled : Potable water

2.Salient features for drinking water supply pump of CISF colony

2.1Type of Pump : Horizontal centrifugal pumps

2.2Capacity & total head : Minimum discharge of 110cum/hr at a head of 30M or more.

2.3 Liquid to be handled : Potable water

3. Salient features for drinking water supply pump of west colony

3.1Type of Pump : Horizontal centrifugal pumps

3.2Capacity & total head : Minimum discharge of 150cum/hr at a head of 30M or more.

3.3Liquid to be handled : Potable water

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

6.1. The bidder must be a manufacturer/authorized dealer and have supplied horizontal centrifugal pumps of minimum capacity of 100 cum/hr or more.

6.2 The bidder should have successfully executed purchase order for supply, erection and commissioning of horizontal

centrifugal pumps of minimum capacity of 100 cum/hr or more during	last seven	(07) years,	as on	the date of	bid
opening either of the following :
One order valuing not less than Rs. 14.62 Lacs.
OR
Two orders valuing not less than Rs. 9.14 Lacs each.
OR
Three orders valuing not less than Rs. 7.31 Lacs each.
6.3. Financial criteria : The average annual financial turnover of the	bidder in	the preceding	three	(03) years	i.e.

2011-12, 2012-13 & 2013-14 as on the date of bid opening shall be not less than Rs. 109.68 Lacs. NOTE:

(i)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

(ii) The word #executed# means that the	bidder should have	achieved the progress specified in the QR at para 6.2 even
if the total order is not completed/closed.	The same shall be	supported by documentary evidence issued by the owner.

(iii)The bidder shall submit documentary evidence/proof of meeting qualifying requirements stipulated above.

6.4.The bidder should have Service Tax/ Sales Tax Registration Number/PAN Number/TAN Number.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
