NOTICE INVITING APPLICATION (NIA)

(Contracts & Materials Department) Vendor Enlistment Notice Subject: Vendor Enlistment (Updation)

1.Jhanor Gandhar Gas Power Project is having in operation Gas units of 3X144.3 MW and Steam Turbine of 224.49 MW. It is one of the esteemed projects of NTPC Ltd-a Maharatna PSU. The project is situated in Gujarat state, on highway no. NH-8 (Ahmedabad – Mumbai) in between Bharuch & Vadodara.

2.NTPC, Jhanor invites applications for updation of Agencies/Contractors enlisted for works contracts/ service packages at Jhanor Only. The List of services/works for which updation is currently open at NTPC, JHANOR is enclosed at Annexure A.

3.Period for Issue of Application Form by NTPC, JHANOR: 17/09/2015 to 16/10/2015

The application form can be downloaded from NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com) or alternatively the application form can be obtained from the office of AGM(C&M), NTPC Ltd., Jhanor -Gandhar Gas Power Project, PO: Urjanagar, Jhanor, Bharuch - 392215, on all working days between 09:00 am to 06:00 pm during the application issue period(17/09/2015 to 16/10/2015) without any fees.

Last date for submission of Filled in Application form with all details: 30.10.2015 1500 Hrs. (IST)

Filled in application forms shall be received in offline mode, only up to 30/10/2015 in the office of AGM(C&M), NTPC Ltd., Jhanor -Gandhar Gas Power Project, PO: Urjanagar, Jhanor, Bharuch – 392215.

Applications received after the stipulated last date of submission of application forms (30/10/15) shall not be entertained & NTPC shall not be responsible for postal delays.

Enlistment and Application Fee: NIL

The Application form can be obtained by interested Agencies/ Contractors free of cost.

The agency already enlisted for these packages / works at NTPC Jhanor need not apply again.

4. Evaluation criteria for Enlistment: For the purpose of enlistment, applicants shall be evaluated on the basis of the stipulated qualifying requirements (Annexure-A) along with supporting documents, as mentioned in the Application Form. Agencies/Contractors who do not meet the stipulated qualifying requirement in totality shall not be considered for enlistment.

For works to be executed at NTPC, JHANOR, the vendor should essentially be registered with EPF & Service tax, Applications of vendors who are not registered with EPF & Service tax shall be liable for rejection.

Even though an applicant may satisfy the above requirements he would be liable for disqualification if he has made misleading or mis-representation or deliberately suppressed information in the forms, statements and enclosures required in the application. Any information/data furnished by the Applicant found to be incorrect or false or misleading at any point of time would render him liable to be debarred from the Enlistment & subject to further action as deemed fit by NTPC, Jhanor.

5.The bidders, who are presently banned from business by NTPC- Corporate Centre/ NTPC-RHQ /JGGPP, as on 15/10/2015, shall not be considered for enlistment. They shall be considered for enlistment only after expiry of their banning period & revoking of the banning order, and shall have to apply against future enlistment notices issued by NTPC, Jhanor.

6.Business dealings with enlisted vendors shall be suspended, if prima-facie it is found in course of investigation that the vendor is involved in an offence of unethical business dealings with NTPC.

6.1 The applicant shall strictly adhere to the “Fraud Prevention Policy” of NTPC as well as accept Policy & Procedure for withholding and Banning of Business Dealings displayed on its tender website http://www.ntpctender.com.

7.All cost incurred by applicants for preparing and submitting the application, providing clarification or any other expenses whatsoever shall be borne by applicants themselves.

8.Agencies/Contractors desirous of enlistment at NTPC, Jhanor for any/various services/works under execution at NTPC, Jhanor (Details as per Annexure-A), will have to submit filled application form attached at Annexure-B, along with all enclosures & supporting documents indicated.

Vendor has to categorically state the work/service & Category for which they intend to enlist themselves. Separate Application form along with required documents shall be submitted for each package, for which the vendor intends to enlist themselves.

Validity of the updation of Agencies/Contractors enlisted for works contracts/ service packages at Jhanor against this press advertisement will remain for the period mentioned along with each package / work in Annexure - A.

During the period that the applications are under consideration, the applicant is advised to refrain from contacting by any means, the employer and /or his employees/representatives on matters related to the applications under consideration. Any effort by an applicant to influence the evaluation of application or processing of applications for enlistment may result in the rejection of the Applicant’s application for enlistment.

Notwithstanding anything stated above, NTPC, Jhanor reserves the right to assess the capabilities, capacity & performance of the agencies, should the circumstances warrant such assessment.

9.For all contracts, mode of tendering adopted by NTPC, Jhanor shall be through E-tendering module only. The “Request form for Registration/ Login id on NTPC e-tender (SRM)”, duly filled in has to be submitted mandatorily along with the application form.

10.NTPC, Jhanor reserves the right to accept/reject any application, and to annul the enlistment process and reject all applications at any time without incurring any liability, to the affected Applicant(s) or any obligation to inform the Applicant(s) of the grounds for this action.
