1. QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

The bidder should

The vehicle should be 2014 or later model.

The make of Closed Jeep shall be of 'Mahindra Bolero SLE' / 'TATA VICTA CX'or 'EQUIVALENT' or any other superior model and run on Diesel, having commercial registration / Taxi permit.

Vehicle(s) should be owned by the bidder [sole or joint or associates]. Incase the vehicle(s) is owned by the associates lease agreement with their associates to be furnished. EMD for one vehicle for 10 Hrs deployment with driver is Rs.14,400/- and EMD for one vehicle for 10 Hrs deployment without driver is Rs.8,150/-.

d) Incase the bidder does not own the vehicle as per the criteria at Sl. No. (c), the bidder may quote with an undertaking that they (sole or joint or associates) would purchase and deploy the vehicle(s) as per instructions of EIC within the Three (03) months from the date of award of contract. In such case, the EMD for one vehicle for 10 Hrs deployment with driver is Rs.28,800/- and EMD for one vehicle for 10 Hrs deployment without driver is Rs.16,300/-. [The total EMD to be submitted by the bidder shall be proportional to the total number of vehicles the bidder intended to quote in his bid under Sl. (c) or (d) or combination of both.]

The bidder should be an individual/ company/ firm or a registered society having a PAN No and Service Tax registration No. However the small service providers who are exempted from Service tax may also submit their bid certifying that they are exempted from Service Tax.

[Documentary evidence regarding ownership / lease agreement in NTPC format, service tax exemption certificate should be furnished along with the bid].

Application for each work shall be made to DGM (Contract Services) at the address furnished below. Demand Draft drawn in favour of NTPC Ltd., payable at STATE BANK OF HYDERABAD, RAMAGUNDAM for Rs.900/- (Non-refundable) is to be attached to the application. Incase the bidder desires the tender documents by post, the bank draft for Rs.950/- including Rs.50/- towards the cost of postage charges, shall be sent to DGM (CS), NTPC Ltd., Jyothinagar - 505 215, Karimnagar Dist. (T.S). MONEY ORDER WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. NTPC will not take responsibility for loss or delay of tender documents, routed through post.

Original documents for verifications shall be produced as and when called for.

Bid documents will be issued to all intending bidders. However, such issue of Bid Documents will not automatically mean that parties are considered qualified. Such qualification will be examined at the time of opening of the Technical bids and Commercial bids (Price bids) of only those meeting the Qualifying requirements shall be opened.

A Complete set of Bidding documents may be obtained by any interested bidder on submission of a written application and payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents, as mentioned at Clause 3.0 above, in the form of a crossed Account payee Demand Draft in favor of NTPC Limited., Ramagundam payable at State Bank of Hyderabad, Ramagundam.

The bidding Documents may also be downloaded from http://www.ntpctender.com on registration and online payment (non-refundable) towards cost of bidding documents and the downloaded documents can be used for bidding purpose.

In case the registered bidders who have downloaded the bidding documents require an additional manual copy of the documents then such bidders shall be required to purchase the manual copy of the bidding documents following the procedure detailed above.

Issuance of bidding documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered qualified. Bids shall be submitted and opened at the address given below in the presence of bidder's representatives who choose to attend.

Sealed tender shall be received at our Office at the address furnished below upto 11:00 A.M on the Bid Opening date and opened on the same day at 11:30 A.M in the presence of available Tenderers or their authorised representative, who may like to be present.

Incase the date of opening happens to be a HOLIDAY, the tender shall be received and opened on the next working day at the same time.

The Earnest Money & Tender should be submitted in separately sealed & superscribed envelopes. BIDS NOT ACCOMPANIED BY THE REQUISITE EARNEST MONEY ARE LIABLE FOR REJECTION.

Not with standing anything stated above, NTPC reserve the right to assess bidder’s capability and capacity to perform the contract, should the circumstance warrant such assessment in overall interest of the owner.

NTPC reserve the right to reject or accept any tender without assigning any reasons thereof.
