1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the

stipulated bid	submission closing	date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security
and Integrity	Pact (if applicable)	shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at RAIPUR or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

(https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the			bidder would require
vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained	by submitting a questionnaire		available at our SRM
site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not		allotted any vendor code are required to
approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale	Close date	alongwith duly filled in questionnare for
issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

The	requirement of	work	would be	to	provide catering service at WR-II	HQ office at Raipur as	well as running,
maintenance & catering		of	Guest house	at	Raipur. Provision of Caretaking	of Guest House including	reception (front

desk), facilitating accommodation, Housekeeping and allied services for comfortable stay of employees/guests of NTPC

Limited and	catering	are the main activities of this contract. Besides, catering services (tea/coffee/snacks/launch	etc)	is to
be provided	in the	office of NTPC / WR-II HQ at Raipur. The scope shall however not be limited to	the	above

functions only but all other functions reasonably required for the professional management of Guest house and catering services at NTPC office.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

The bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following Qualifying Requirement:

5.1 The bidder should be proprietary firm, partnership firm,			limited company, registered co-operative society, corporate
body legally constituted processing the required licenses,			registrations etc	in proof of the creation of	the
firm/society/company as	laid down	in law, valid at least for	12 months from the	date of bid opening. In addition,	the
bidder must be having a	valid PF	registration no. as per GCC.

5.2 The bidder must have experience of running, maintenance and catering services of guest house/ transit camp/ Management Training Institute of Central Govt. Depts./ PSUs/Large organizations of repute/ 2 Star (or above) Hotels for last 3 years ending with 31st March 2015.

5.3 The	bidder	should	have successfully completed similar work during last seven (7) years as on last day of NIT,
meeting	any one	of the	following criteria:

#One similar completed work, costing not less than the amount equal to Rs 53.00 Lakhs

#Two similar completed works, each costing not less than the amount equal to Rs 33.00 Lakhs

#Three similar completed works, each costing not less than the amount equal to Rs 27.00 Lakhs

#Similar Completed Works# means #Running, Maintenance and catering Services of Guest House / Transit Camp /Management Training Institute of Central Govt. Deptts/ PSUs/Large Organizations of repute/ 2 Star (or above star) Hotels having minimum nine no. of rooms during the last seven years#

5.4Financial Criteria:

5.4.1	The average annual turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years as	on the date of bid
opening, shall not be less than Rs 33 Lakhs (Rupees Thirty Three Lakhs only).
5.4.2	In case where audited results for the financial year 2014-15 are not available, certification of	financial statements

from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable. In case, bidder is not able to submit the

certificate	from the	practicing Chartered Accountant	certifying	its financial	parameters,	the	audited	results of three
consecutive	financial	years preceding the last financial	year shall	be considered	for evaluating	the	financial	parameters.

NOTES: Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
