4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

(https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the

bidder would require

vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained

by submitting a questionnaire

available at our SRM

site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not

allotted any vendor code are required to

approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

The scope of work involves a) development of drawings & approval of same drawings from NTPC before start of fabrication, b) procurement of bare tubes, c) procurement of SS tubes, d) procurement of fins material, e) fabrication of boiler bank tubes as per drawing, f) fabrication of shielding as per drawing, g) swaging of end nipple of boiler bank tube, h) annealing of swage nipple.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.0Brief scope of work:-

The scope of work involves a) development of drawings & approval of same drawings from NTPC before start of fabrication, b) procurement of bare tubes, c) procurement of SS tubes, d) procurement of fins material, e) fabrication of

boiler bank tubes as per

drawing, f)

fabrication of shielding as per drawing, g) swaging of end nipple of boiler bank

tube, h) annealing of swage nipple.

4.0Qualifying Requirements:-

The bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfil the following Qualifying Requirements:-

I.TECHNICAL QR:

a. The bidder must have the experience in execution of supply or supply cum erection contract of swaged end boiler bank tubes for high pressure utility boilers of 60 MW rating (Steam Flow>= 272 T/Hr) or above during last seven (07) years from bid opening date..

b.The bidder should have in house bending, swaging & heat treatment facility for fabrication of BB tubes, Documentary

evidence in the form of purchase order and photograph of the above facility has to be furnished by the agency.

c.The bidder must be an IBR approved agency (approved documents in the name of agency from concerned IBR approving authority to be submitted along with bid documents).

d.The bidder should have executed similar orders during last seven (07)

years reckoned as on the date of bid opening date with either of the following:-

i.Value of Rs. 97.05 Lac in case of single similar order,

Or

ii.Value of Rs. 60.65 Lac in case of two similar orders,

Or

iii.Value of Rs .48.52 Lac in case of three similar orders.

NB: - Similar orders means the bidder should have successfully executed supply or supply cum erection of boiler bank tubes with swaged end for high pressure utility boilers of 60 MW rating (steam flow>= 272 T/Hr) or above

II.FINANCIAL CRITERIA:

(a) The Average Annual Turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years as

on the date of bid

opening,

shall not be less than INR 161.74 Lac (Rupees One Crore Sixty One Lac Seventy

four

as

calculated below:

 

 

 

 

 

 

(b) The word #executed# means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the

QR

at

para 4.0

(I)

even if total contract is not completed/closed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

(c) Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover as specified in QR para 4.0

(I)

(a).

 

 

 

(d)

In

case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available,

certification

of

financial

statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable.

 

 

 

 

 

 

5.0 Notwithstanding anything stated above, NTPC reserves the right to assess the bidder#s capability & capacity

to

perform

the contract. If the circumstances so warrant, the QR may be modified in over all interest of

work.

 

 

 

6.0Additional Information:-

The following information#s is required from the vendors about the companies where similar orders have been executed.

1)Name of the customer/ company where similar order has been executed.

2)Year of supply/ commissioning.

3)Name & designation (Phone No. Fax No. email-id) of contract person of the customer.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have

any claim arising out of such

action.
