PREPARATION OF DETAILED PROJECT REPORT (DPR) FOR DEVELOPMENT OF WIND POWER PROJECTS AT NTPC STATIONS IN INDIA

1.0 INTRODUCTION:

NTPC intends to set up wind energy projects at various power stations having wind potential. NTPC presently has 24 Coal based stations, 8 combined cycle gas/liquid fuel based stations and 1 Hydro based station, besides many thermal, hydro and solar projects are under construction. The list and locations of these plants has been attached in detailed documents provided under this EOI.

The Expression of Interest is invited from interested parties, who are willing to work with NTPC for identification of sites (at NTPC’s existing stations) where wind energy projects can be set up and which are economically viable. The assignment will cover the desktop studies based on the available information and data in public domain and shortlist the projects where wind farms can be set up and for such short-listed projects Detailed Project

Report is to be prepared which will cover wind resource assessment, wind data processing, selection of machines, techno-economic analysis and implementation plan.

Through this EOI, NTPC intends to collect data regarding the capacity and capability of the Agencies to prepare Detailed Project Report (DPR) for development of Wind Power

Projects. This invitation for Expression of Interest is not intended for empanelment or pre qualification of Agencies.

2.0 SUBMISSION OF EOI

Agencies are required to submit the information as mentioned below in their EOI by

07/08/2015. The details should be submitted in the prescribed formats along with supporting documents.

a.Covering letter from the company on its letterhead.

b.Schedule-1: Company profile and Organization Structure

c.Schedule-2: Technical qualifications/capabilities

d.Schedule-3: Acceptance of Fraud Prevention Policy of NTPC

e.Schedule-4: Any other information

You may note that NTPC reserves the right to modify or annul the process without assigning any reason whatsoever solely at its own discretion.

3.0 INTERACTION WITH AGENCIES

Subsequent to last date of submission of EOI by the Agencies, NTPC may interact with those Agencies who have submitted their Expression of Interest for subject work for further clarifications/feedback.

4.0 SIGNATURE & SUBMISSION

Agencies may download the EOI document free of cost from www.ntpctender.com and submit their application on or before 07.08.2015 on their Letter Head along with the required information in original along with a soft copy of the same in the form of CD in a sealed cover super scribing “Expression Of Interest (EOI) Preparation of Detailed Project

Report (DPR) for Development of Wind Power Projects at NTPC Stations in India”, at the address given below.

3.NTPC reserves the right to reject or accept any or all applications, cancel the EOI process without any obligation to inform the Agency about the grounds of same.
