3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at NEW DELHI or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). QUALITY CHECKS:

1.Detailed Datasheet/ Drawing etc. to be got approved from the Indentor.

2.Material shall be tested as per latest IS, and approved Datasheet / Drawing at Vendor's works.

3.Hytro-testing shall be done as per the IS mentionede in the P.O.

4.Material test report, which can be Vendor's in-house(if testing

facilities exist) or from a Govt. approved lab., is to be submitted, However,in case of nickel casting metal chips may be collected randomly from one v/v each among different type of valves anywhere from Bonnet or wedge or Body for

chemical testing at Govt/ govt approved lab. MDCC will be issued only after Chemical analysis from above lab is found O.K.

5.In case of Gate & Globe valves, all valves to be checked for 100% tight closing & opening. Wedge collar/stem should not fail during this checking.

6.Material shall be offered in unpainted condition. After inspection and before despatch material should be properly painted and protected with anti-corrossive coatings and ends should be capped(packed) to avoid ingess of foreign material during transportation/storage.

7.Vendor is to give Guarantee Certificate at the time of inspection.

8.Manufacturer's Identification mark with Sl.No. to be put on the valves.

Testing Through XRF Analyzer

1.During PDI/Stage inspection, all the materials having chemical composition of alloy steel/stainless steel/non-ferrous metal, shall be checked for chemical composition using XRF analyzer and the same shall be arranged by the vendor. This is in addition to other checks for the test of chemical composition mentioned in QAP.

2.The material after receipt at NTPC, Badarpur stores, once again shall be checked using XRF analyzer (NTPC/BTPS scope)

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

) The applicant should be a manufacturer of CI Sluice / Gate Valves

b)The applicant should be a valid holder of IS 14846:2000 or equivalent International Standard.

c)The applicant should have supplied Sluice/Gate Valve as per IS 14846 or equivalent International Standard during the last five years from the date of application.

2.0 The bidder should have executed value any one of the following Similar Works in India in the preceding seven years as on the date of opening of Techno-Commercial proposal:

One Work of value not less than Rs. 17.82 lacs (Rupee Seventeen lakh and Eighty two thousand only)

 

OR

Two works of value not less than Rs. 11.14 lacs

(Rupee Eleven lakh and

OR

Three works of value not less than of Rs.8.91

lacs (Rupee Eight lakh

and Ninety one thousands only) each.

 

Note:

 

 

1.#Similar# works means any work which includes #Supply of CI Gate Valves OR Sluice Valves as per IS 14846:2000 or equivalent International Standard ".

2.The executed value means Basic value of quantity of similar works executed / supplied against the reference PO(also applicable to partly executed POs as on date of application).Where PO value is composite(i.e. including Taxes etc.),the applicant to give item-wise break-up of Composite PO value mentioning Basic Value, Taxes etc.

3.The work #executed# mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if the total contract is started earlier and/or is not completed/ closed.

4.In case of orders under execution, the value of work executed till the date of opening of Techno-

Commercial proposal as certified by the Client shall be considered.

3.0 The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of

opening of Techno-Commercial proposal should not be less than Rs.44.54 lakh ( Rupee Forty Four lakh and Fifty four thousand only ).

Note:

1.While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.

2.In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
