NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)

FOR

Hiring of 02 Nos. Air Conditioned Travellers for shuttle services between EOC, NOIDA and SCOPE Complex, New Delhi via PMI, NOIDA for a period of 02 years.

1.0 NTPC invites bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

3.0 Bid Security shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the bidding documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at New Delhi or may be downloaded from website http://www.ntpctender.com/ on depositing the requisite cost of bidding document (non-refundable).

5.0 Brief Scope of Work and Specific detail

Hiring of 02 Nos. Air Conditioned Travellers for shuttle services between EOC, NOIDA and SCOPE Complex, New Delhi via PMI, NOIDA for a period of 02 years.

6.0 Prospective Bidders from U.P State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements For Bidders:

7.1 The bidder should have provided Buses/ Mini Buses in Govt. Organization/ Public Sector / Private Sector Companies / Institutions during preceding seven years as reckoned from the date of bid opening of techno-commercial proposal and having following contract value:

(a) One contract having executed value not less than Rs.45.11 Lakhs ( Rupees Forty Five Lakhs Eleven Thousand only)

OR

(b) Two contracts having executed value not less than Rs.28.20 Lakhs each (Rupees Twenty Eight Lakhs Twenty Thousand only).

OR

(c) Three contracts having executed value not less than Rs.22.56 Lakhs each (Rupees Twenty Two Lakhs Fifty Six Thousand only).

The word "executed" mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if the contract is in operation.

In case of contract under execution, the value of work executed till the date of bid opening as certified by Employer shall be considered.

7.2 The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of bid opening of techno -commercial proposal shall not be less than Rs.28.20 lakhs (Rupees Twenty Eight Lakhs Twenty Thousand only).

Note: While computing the annual turnover, other income shall not be considered.

In case, where audited results for the preceding financial years is not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

8.0 Issuance of bidding documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the Notice Inviting Tender [NIT] for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
