bidder would require

vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained

by submitting a questionnaire

available at our SRM

site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not

allotted any vendor code are required to

approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

PART- IA CLEANING AND REMOVAL OF MILL REJECT & BOTTOM ASH

FROM

BOILER

AREAS OF

STAGE- III (1 x 500 MW) UNIT .

 

 

 

 

 

SCOPE OF WORK :

 

 

 

 

 

I A. MILL REJECT AREA : (CLEANING ROUND THE CLOCK)

 

 

 

 

i)

To clear all

the mill reject coming from running

mill#s ( 10 mills )

disposal

chute and

transfer to

marked place

as

per instruction

of Engineer-in-charge.

 

 

 

 

 

ii) To clear the chocking in mill discharge chutes and to clean mill surrounding area.

 

 

 

1B. CLEARING AND CLEANING OF MILL REJECT FROM "0" Mtr. BOILER

AREA

(CLEANING DURING

GENERAL SHIFT)

 

 

 

 

 

 

i)

To clean all the

mills bay area of the unit by dry /wet

cleaning throughout

the daY.

 

 

ii) To clean the area between APH hopper drain to T.G. building wall (perpendicular lines from TG building wall beside

coal mill

upto

APH

hopper

drain)

throughout the

day

by wet

cleaning.

1C. BOTTOM ASH HOPPER AREAS : (ROUND THE CLOCK)

i) Ensure

free

flow

of ash

slurry

in the bottom ash

pit

provided

for the discharge of scrapper conveyors.

ii)To clean bottom ash hopper surrounding area round the clock by wet cleaning.

iii)To clear bottom ash collection from slag bath whenever scraper conveyor is out of order or being normalised after shutdown from bottom ash hopper manholes observing full safety precautions.

iv)To clean bottom ash discharge pit &pumping area round the clock by wet cleaning.

1D. MISCELLANEOUS JOB : This work shall include shifting of materials, scrap, handling emergency needs and any other work required. This work will be executed as and when required.

1D(i). Collection and stacking of scrap : This work shall include manual sorting and collection of metal, glass wool ,

insulation,

metal sheet,

plastic

and other

scrap materials, foreign

material

reject of mills from within the main plant area

& stacking

of the same

within

a lead of

1.0 Km. The boundaries

of the

collection area shall be as follows:

a)Approach road leading to TG hall stage # 3simulator side.

b)Road between unit # 6 & unit # 7

c)Road in front of chimney of stage # 3. units 7

d)Fencing between transformer yard & Ash water treatment plant.

1D(ii)."Ash removal from ash slurry pump house stage

# 3. This

work shall include cleaning

the

ash from the floors of

Ash slurry pump house Stage # 3.

: This work

includes handling emergency

REMOVAL OF MILL REJECT FROM (1X 500MW) BOILER AREA.

 

SCOPE OF WORK :

by opening Reject Bunker gate into

tripper/truck from Reject Bunker.

into tripper/truck

from the area specified by

Engineer-in-charge.

Transportation of the

mill reject to

the dumping area

normally

located inside the power plant premises within a

distance of approx. 02 KM by his own mobilisation / arrangement of vehicles, manpower and tools & tackles etc. at his own cost.

4 Unloading of reject in dumping area.

5 Leveling of reject in the dumping area.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS [QR]:

1.0 The bidder should be an experienced contractors in housekeeping / Periodical cleaning / Operational assistance / Man

power supply works / Transportation works / Removal of stone boulders / Civil maintenance / Civil construction works /

Mechanical works / Railway track

maintenance works

/ Road works, in Central

/ State Govt. / Public sector undertaking

/ Joint venture of Public sector / UPL and should have executed the following

work order(s) during the last seven (07)

years ending with the last date of

the month preceding

the month of publication

of NIT in :

a)Single order of value not less than Rs. 44 Lakh [Rupees Forty Four Lakh].

or

b)Two order of value not less than Rs. 28 Lakh [Rupees Twenty Eight Lakh] each.

or

c)Three order of value not less than Rs. 22 Lakh [Rupees Twenty Two Lakh] each.

The work / order executed means the bidder should

have achieved the

criterion specified in the QR,

even if the total

contract is not completed/closed. In

case

of contracts

under

execution

as

on last date of the month preceding the month

of publication

of NIT, the value of

work

executed till such

date will

be

considered provided the same

is certified by the

employer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.1 Financial

Criteria

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the last date of the month preceding the month of publication of NIT shall not be less than Rs.55.22 Lakh (Rupees Fifty Five Lakh Twenty Two Thousand Only].

i)While computing the annual turn over, other income shall not

be considered.

ii)In

case where

audited results for the last preceding financial

year are not available, certification of financial statements

from

a practicing

Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

2.0The bidder shall have to submit the following documents in support of meeting the QR along with their bid:

2.1The bidder to submit documentary evidence in support of Clause 1.0 of QR.

2.2 Copies of audited balance sheet and profit & loss account for the preceding three

(3) financial years

in support of

Clause 1.1 of QR.

 

 

 

 

3.0 Notwithstanding anything stated above, the Owner reserves the right to assess the

capabilities and capacity of the

Bidder

/ his

collaborators

/ associates / subsidiaries

/ group companies to perform the

contract, should the

circumstance

warrant

such

assessment in

the overall interest of the

Employer.

 

 

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have

any claim arising out of such

action.
