SUBJECT : Biennial Rate Contract for Transportation of material from various locations to TTPS & Vice-versa.

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS

1.0BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK : Biennial Rate Contract for Transportation of materials from various location to TTPS & Vice-versa.

DURATION OF CONTRACT :

24 Months.

The bidder who wishes to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following requirements.

3.0 QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS :-

The bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following Qualifying Requirements.

(i)The bidder should be a Bank approved Transporter & should have an office & Go-down at Angul or Talcher or TTPS, Talcher Thermal or shall give an undertaking to open the same within 30 days from the date of Award.

(ii)The bidder should have offices at not less than 50 locations out of 80 locations specified in the attached list and also cover at least 100 branches all over India. Any number of branches/ booking offices in a city shall be considered as one branch only. No franchise or agreement for transportation by bidder with other transporter shall be considered as a branch.

(iii)The bidder should have experience of having successfully executed the work of transportation of material from all over India for any reputed industrial organization /utility during last 07 years.

(iv)The bidder must have successfully executed similar work orders having value not less than the following during the last seven (07) years reckoned as on the date of bid opening:-

Value of Rs.80.00 Lacs in case of single similar order, OR

Value of Rs.50.00 Lacs in case of two similar orders, OR

Value of Rs. 40.00 Lacs in case of three similar orders

Note: Similar work would mean the bidder must have the experience of executing the work of transportation of material from all over India for any reputed industrial organization /utility.

4.FINANCIAL CRITERIA:

(i)Average Annual turnover:- The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 50.00 Lacs (Rupees Fifty Lac Only).

(ii)The word ‘executed’ means that the bidder should have achieved the specified QR at para (3) even if total contract is not completed /closed.

(iii)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover as specified in QR at para (4)(i).

(iv)In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable.

5.Notwithstanding anything stated above, NTPC reserves the right to assess the bidder’s capability & capacity to perform the contract.
