5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail SCOPE OF WORK
Construction 06 nos new Girls/ Boys Toilets of Surrounding schools around NTPC 1.Umran,
2.Arkha,
3.Jasauli 4. Purwara
5.Unchahar(Jr High school), 6.Mustfabad
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The work shall be carried out as per drawing, specifications, BOQ and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
2.Completion period of the work shall be 12 (Twelve) months from the date of start.
3.Defect liability period shall be 12 months from the date of completion.
4.Date of start shall be certified by the Engineer-in-Charge.
5.Reinforcement Steel, cement and fly ash bricks shall be issued free of cost to the agency from NTPC store in Plant,
however, agency has to arrange for transportation of the above up to work site at his own cost within the quoted rates.

plants to be used at site will be arranged by the agency at his own cost. |

As |
the |
work |
will be executed outside the boundary wall of NTPC so the agency have to |
deposit Rs |
80,000.00 |
(Rupees One Lac Sixty Thousand only) in the form of Demand Draft/FDR/CASH in the name |
of NTPC Ltd, as a |
security against |
owner issue material, which shall be released after material reconciliation upon |
completion |
of work. |
ESTIMATED COST OF FREE ISSUE MATERIAL IS Rs.9,15,851.86. |

8.In case of stoppage of works by villagers/school authorities, no claim towards idling charges of shall be accepted and paid. However extension of time may be considered by EIC.
9.The payment to agency will be released on monthly basis after submission of bills along with supporting document of payment to the workers.
10.The agency has to provide all required safety equipments to labourers during execution of the work and also submit necessary insurance for the workers engaged in the work before start the work.
11.All other terms and conditions shall remain the same as per GCC of civil work of NTPC.
12.As the works will be executed outside the boundary wall of NTPC so the agency has to make the necessary arrangement for security of owner issued materials at their own cost.
13. Agency shall arrange electricity and water required for execution |
of contract at their own cost. The quoted price shall |
be deemed inclusive of the same. |

14. |
The quoted price shall be deemed to have included cost of channelization of water and or dewatering during |
construction. Nothing extra over the quoted price shall be paid on this account. |

15. |
As the work has to be carried |
out |
at |
different |
schools in |
villages, agency should visit the areas |
and apprise |
themselves of the |
working constraints |
in |
the |
village/school location. |
The cost of working in constraints and simultaneous |
work at multiple location including cost of construction of stores at |
multiple locations/transportation /shifting of materials |
from |
one location |
to another location ,if required, shall |
be deemed, |
to have included in quoted price of the |
bidders. |
16. Testing of materials shall be carried out by agency as per approved quality plan and specification, cost of testing of materials as per FQP shall be deemed to have included in the quoted price of bidder. However materials testing may be carried out at NTPC lab on chargeable basis.
6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.
7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
a)The bidder should have executed the civil construction work including brick work.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without
assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
