NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)

FOR

Procurement of Personal Computers for NCR-HQ at NOIDA

Uttar Pradesh, India

(Domestic Competitive Bidding- E Tender Mode )

1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) in a separate envelop shall be rejected by the employer as being non-responsive by the employer and returned to the bidders without being opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at NOIDA or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least Five working days prior to Document Sale Close date along with duly filled in questionnaire for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail :

Scope of work comprises of supply of desktops as per specifications, installation, data migration and maintenance during Warranty.

Quantity # 449 no. (for NCR-HQ/NOIDA and the NCR stations)

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

The bidders are required to fulfil the following :-

1.0 The bidder should be a manufacturer of Personal Computers (PCs )having facility in India for manufacture of PCs, using either their own manufactured motherboards.

OR

The bidder should be a Subsidiary/Authorized Partner of the OEM as above as on the date of bid opening of Techno-Commercial proposal. The bidder should be duly authorized by the OEM as above for this tender.

2.0 The bidder/OEM should have following certifications-

a) Should have a valid ISO 9001 certification

b) Should have Microsoft OEM certification for pre loading of Windows Operating System for Intel based PCs.

3.0 The OEM should have a national/global existence for the last Five (05) Years.

4.0 The Bidder should have successfully supplied above PCs during last two (2) years

reckoned as on the date of bid opening in :

a) One similar Work costing not less than Rs 1,93,07,000/- each.

OR

b) Two similar Works costing not less than Rs 1,20,66,875/- each.

OR

c) Three similar Works costing not less than Rs 96,53,500/-.

5.0 The average annual turnover of the Bidder in the preceding three (3) completed financial years as on the date of bid opening should not be less than Rs 241.33 Lacs (Indian Rupee Two Hundred Forty One Lacs and Thirty Three Thousand only).

Note: “

1. ‘Similar’ works means any work which includes supply of Intel based Desktops.

2. The work ”executed” means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified even if the total contract is started earlier and/or is not completed/closed. In case of orders under execution, the value of work executed till the date of bid opening as certified by the Employer shall be considered.

3. While computing the average annual turnover, other income shall not be considered.

4. In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

General Notes #

1)#Exemption from furnishing of EMD/tender fee shall be granted to the firms registered with NSIC or with Small Scale Industries provided the monitory limit fixed by NSIC/SSI authority is not below the quoted value, on submission of proof of eligibility.

2)# Detailed specification and Scope of Work are given in the bidding documents,

which are available for examination and sale at the NTPC Website and as per schedule.

3)#Tender documents are non-transferable.

4)#NTPC will not be responsible for any delay/loss/damage or non-receipt of documents.

8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
