3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the

stipulated bid	submission closing	date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security
and Integrity	Pact (if applicable)	shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

(https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the			bidder would require
vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained	by submitting a questionnaire		available at our SRM
site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not		allotted any vendor code are required to
approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale	Close date	alongwith duly filled in questionnare for
issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0	Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail
Scope of work
01.	This job consists of repair & maintenance of drinking water	supply system, Service water supply line for
gardening etc including operating tube wells in plant area. Repair of pumps and motors (20			HP) is also included in the
scope of work. Water supply Repair and maintenance also includes		Tripti Canteen, Sulabh	Complex, Ash brick	plant
area, silo area and Weigh bridge outside plant.
02.	Agency has to ensure drinking water supply daily for the village	"Bikai, Babhanpur from main plant & CHP		area
main line as per stipulated time as per instruction of EIC/ NTPC time		to time.

03. The operators will be deployed in three shifts at different locations for plant area i.e. Pump House No.1, (Near ash water pump house/ opposite of cooling tower no-05, Stage-III), Pump House No. 2 (Near Administrative Building), and Pump House No.-3 (near CHP area) and Booster Pumps installed near UCB, service building Pump House No-02 for new ADM building & Pump House no-01 near stage-III (ash water Pump House).

04. The agency must have the following equipment at site after start of work within 15 days time.

05. Chain pulley block capacity 3 MT for lifting and lowering the pumps. 5 H.P. Diesel operated potable pump for attending leakages.

06. Tools kits for laying GI pipe line/CI pipe line and attending leakages as per day to day complaint basis.

07. Drill bits with ratchet for fixing ferrules connections in CI pipe line for giving connection wherever required inside/ outside plant.

08 Torch light & safety shoes must be provided by the agency to workmen deployed for the work.

10. The

operators to

be engaged

in different pump houses

may

also

require

to do dozing of chlorine

(bleaching powder)

and also to run the chlorination system installed by NTPC in good running condition and also to maintain the system in

working condition (i.e. minor repair of	the chlorination	systems, however	the major	maintenance	work of	motor/pumps
will be under scope of NTPC)
11. Cement shall be issued free of cost	from FGUTPP	Central store and	agency has	to transport	the same	at their own

cost and nothing extra shall be payable on this account. ESTIMATED COST OF FREE ISSUE MATERIAL IS Rs. 25,000.00.

12.	If any operator found absent during working		hours without prior leave approval from	NTPC, penalty	shall be
imposed @ Rs. 269.17x2 times i.e. Rs. 538.34 per			shift. Contractor has to arrange reliever during absence of operator
so as to smooth running of the system. Substitute of			operator shall be arranged by agency with	prior intimation	to NTPC
in case of leave/absence of the operator.
13.	Agency has to procure supply items as per NTPC's requirements. If the supply materials			are not being supplied by
the agency within specified time limit, then NTPC shall purchase the same at agencies risk and cost.
14.	The agency has to engage Supervisors round the		clock so that water supply system should not be hampered /affected
and	concern	supervisor will contact/report to NTPC	official daily at 08.30 AM and he will act as per NTPC guidelines.
He	should be	capable of handling day today complaints and maintaining water supply operation system smoothly.

15. Contract completion period: 12 months.

16. Defect liability period: Six months to be taken as guarantee for repair & maintenance of Pump/Motor to be got repaired under this contract. For repair and maintenance of water supply work if any - no direct liability period will be considered.

17. (A) FOR BOQ ITEM #Operation & Running of 5/7/10/20/30/40 HP SUBMERSIBLE MONOBLK PUMP SET#: 01 no Operator (Semi Skilled)/per shift/each pump house to be engaged at different pump house i.e. Pump House no.2&3 should have experience in relevant field and considered as a "Semi Skilled Worker".(B) FOR another BOQ ITEM #Operation & Running of 5/7/10/20/30/40 HP SUBMERSIBLE MONOBLK PUMP SET#: 01 no. operator (Semi skilled ), 1 no helper to be engaged per shift for pump house No-01 for checking of water supply in plant area. Helper may be considered as unskilled worker.

18.If any major breakdown of pump/motor occurs in any pump house and if the bore well will not run due to sudden breakdown, agency has to minimize the operators as per NTPC instructions. On such cases no claim on idle establishment will be entertained.

19.Agency has to execute any type of extra items related to water supply work considering "Emergency work" as per instruction of E.I.C.

20.The work shall be executed as per CPWD Specifications & Latest IS code.

21.Agency shall maintain the water supply main line, valves and other line laid for drinking water network.

22.All other terms and conditions shall be as per GCC of civil.

23.Agency shall have to ensure the safety of the installation of pump house/ motor and keeping the nearby area clean.

24.	Insurance cover note for all manpower to be	engaged in this	work,	are	required to	be submitted before	starting of
work by agency.
25.	Agency has to get the submersible pumps and	motor repaired	through	the	authorized	dealers of respective	pump sets

only within 30 days time. The documentary evidence for repairing by the authorized dealer should be submitted while

claiming the payment for repair	& maintenance	of pumps and motors, however, NTPC will	release	payment	on the
quoted rates of the bidder only.	The old spare	parts and copper wires are to be deposited	along	with the	repaired
pumps and motors.

26.All statutory requirements like obtaining license etc is to be full filled by the agency within three months time of the issue of LOI.

27.Agency has to follow the rules/safety/as per ESHQ Management System (Unchahar) ISO: 14001:1996, OHSAS-18001:1999, ISO 9001:2000 & SA 8000. All OCP is to be followed as per above guidelines.

28.For non schedule item Repair and leakage of GI pipe 15/20 mm dia, 25/40 mm dia, & 50/80 mm dia and schedule item DSR-2012 18.27.3, agency has to keep one skilled plumber & one unskilled manpower (Plumber Helper) for day to day attending of leakages in G.I. pipe /C.I. line.

29.BOQ item Operation and running of fountains infront of new ADM Building/ infront of CS building/ infront of F&A BUILDING shall execute from 8:00AM to 8:00PM shift shall be considered for 12 (twelve) hrs. Manpower shall be available during running hrs of the system, however the same shall be executed as per instruction of EIC.

30.For BOQ ITEM: #Cleaning of fountains in Old / New ADM building# shall be cleaned every sunday i.e. 04 (four) times in a months.

31. For BOQ item #Cleaning of syntex tank of all size#	located in various locations inside plant shall be carried out
after 03 (three) months interval. Agency has to execute the	work as per instruction of NTPC. Tank cleaning register shall
be maintained by the agency.

32. Operator engaged for running of fountains in New & Old ADM building shall also be responsible for running of

WATERFALL near turning of ICH for which no extra payment shall be made. Running hrs of fountains shall be from 8:00 AM to 8:00PM subject to availability of pump in working condition.

	Terms & conditions
1. Work is	to be executed as per CPWD specification/relevant IS code released drawings and as per direction of
Engineer-in	charge.

2. Cement to be issued	by NTPC as free issue material from NTPC	store. However transportation for the same from
NTPC store to site will	be arranged by the agency and nothing is to	be paid extra for the same. ESTIMATED COST
OF FREE ISSUE MATERIAL IS Rs. 25,000.00.

3.Completion period will be 12 months from the date of start. The date of start will be intimated by the Engineer-in-charge.

4.Agency has to make the payment through "BANK' & necessary documents to be submitted to NTPC every months.

5.One R.A Bill shall be paid in a month.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

a)The bidder should have the experience of water supply maintenance or civil maintenance work in a township/ industrial plant.

b) The bidder should have executed contract as per para 9(a) above during last 7 years ending last day of the month of previous to one in which bids are opened as any of the following :-

(i) One similar executed work costing not less than Rs. 17.00 lacs.

OR

(ii) Two similar executed works costing not less than Rs. 10.50 lacs each.

OR

(iii) Three similar executed works costing not less than Rs. 8.50 lacs each.

c) The	average annual	financial	turnover of the bidder in the three preceding completed years, as on the date of bid
opening	shall not be less	than Rs.	21.00 lacs.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
